Love the video. Great advice for new people! Though quick tip. I did see you had problems locking onto enemies when they flare or there's another heat source. A good way to counter that is to add a key bind for "Weapons Lock (Air to Air)" so you can retry the lock!

That would definitely help. when I made this video the su-27 was the only 12.7 plane I had, and I rushed through top tier to get to it. Now that im not dribbling this is a great tip!

It's actually good to use radar on those missiles, particularly at medium-low ranges where a flare wouldn't protect them from the missile, but would allow for user error to fire on a flare instead of the plane. Especially useful when you need to maneuver and target at the same time. Since your mouse can't be in two places at once. Also you overestimate the average war thunder player. Half of the people I shoot at won't even react to an r27er thats been lighting up their rwr for 15 seconds straight, much less a regular lock with no launch tone.

The simplest tip I can give is DO NOT ROLL WHILE TURNING over 900kmph. It turns its best between 600-900, but only "vertically" meaning with its elevators. if you roll THEN pull you'll get the same effect without losing your wing.

@@Kaelsier You know what I end up doing? I uninstalled new boosters modification. I lost some roll rate and turning, but I loose less energy when turning, and no more broken wings.
