Here is a great tip for you: in the screen where you download the clip if you click the Chinese word on the top right, you will go into a new screen where you can download in 4k and even edit the video before downloading it. It’s a great tool …I love kling! ;) cheers . Great video, like always.

How do you compare kling to gen-3? Unfortunately, even after being one of the first testing runway since gen-1, I never got accepted to the creative partners until now, even after making many shorts with it and participating in their first ai festival. Thanks Tim for another helpful video. I see from your 'Dead Sea' video that you are really working through these tools as a professional filmmaker and taking the best from each tool. I'm based in the UK so I wanted to add for those who are struggling that in the UK Kwai Cut IS available on IOS store and you just have to match the brand icon because the name text is in Mandarin. I did need to use the 'SMS online' website as a UK mobile was NOT accepted. I was then added to the waitlist at over a million people so I imagine that will take a few months. I did NOT need to go through the Kwai Shou app at all so you are right, Tim, that extra step is not needed. Just leave the Kwai Shou user ID blank and once you have that simulated Chinese number in place then the 'proceed' button at the bottom will cease to be greyed out and you can just click through to the waitlist message.

When I click the panda I don't get the application process options (the 3 steps), all i get is a screen that says "First-time VIP activation" then I can either log in with Kuaishou (which I can't make a Kuaishou account because it says I need to verify by entering my ID and i dont have a chinese ID)

@@HikingWithCooper I have done about 15 a day and there was not warning or generation counting I could see. Everything is in chinese, I take screenshots and feed them to ChatGPT to help me choose the relevant buttons. Their generation is also way faster than Luma AI's model.

Both apps keep saying unavailable in your region (usa) on the playstore (android) i was able to download an apk for kwaicut online and get it to work, but when i downloaded the apk for kwai, the app loaded and said "our app is unavailable in your region" 😢😢😢

Appreciate you going the extra mile for this one. Forgive me if you answered some of these questions already - is it totally free? Did you experience a limit in daily or monthly generations? How long on average did you wait for a generation to complete? I've seen people say Kling can do TWO MINUTE LONG generations, were you able to try that?

Free for now, since it’s in beta. I’m sure you know the drill! No cap on daily gens, it’s super fast. Like, a minute per gen: and it’ll extend out to 3 minute (though I haven’t gotten that far!)

If you got that number, you’re on the waitlist. I’m not sure you’ll get a text message (I never did) so check on the app after a few days to a week and see if it loads up!

So I applied the day this video came out and it still says to wait patiently 😂 should I consider myself denied? What is a normal wait time? After trying by linking AppleID (and Kuaishou app both) can I even start over anymore or am I forever denied in their system? So many questions. What about the fake Chinese number I had to use 2 weeks ago? There was no confirmation text that I had to enter at the start. Will they text that randomly and I just have to know when to check the fake number online? The details definitely matter in this kind of stuff

To be honest, I have no idea. They're a bit of a black box. Although it does seem like I'm hearing from more and more people that they're getting in. That said, it almost seems random at this point. Pro tip: if you need to translate to English on ios, do a screen grab (top volume button and power button), open the image in your photo roll and hit the icon of 3 lines with a dashed box and then select translate.

I have access to Kling but when I try to do image to video with a full body photo, which is about 2:3 aspect ratio, based off the photo size because you can’t change the aspect ratio with image to video, unfortunately the video comes out so blurry. It’s not HD, it’s not even 720p. And the face comes out blurry af. So disappointing. 😪

Yeah. I think that version is a region locked one. I still can’t make heads or tails out of what countries allow it, and which don’t. Some in Canada can, some can’t. India is a blackout. Some in the UK can, but not all. It’s a mess. Admittedly, I kind of knew that coming into the video, but wanted to at least give everyone a chance at getting it.

Ok I Sign In with Apple ID butt still wants a phone number so I went to that SMSONLINE and copy the Chinese number and then it say to get the code so I click on that to get the code but I see no message for the code to enter it confuse what I am i missing?

oh, so I just put that in on Kwaicut. No idea why that worked. I didn't actually use Kyyle's method, other than just signing up to the mobile number-- but I presume they will either let you choose a name, or assign one to you. You might need to use a translator to get through that part.

That's because kwaicut Chinese app does not support ur country. I downloaded tencent app APK and downloaded kwaicut Chinese app from there. But to use it u also have to install kuaishou app and create an account there. But I was unable to create an account.

Oh FYI if you are on Mac M1 or higher you can download the Mobile apps on your desktop as a IOS simulation.

Haha. Not basic at all! It’s the Apple thing using AirPlay I can stream my phone to my desktop, and then record the screen with OBS. The one downside is, even with a 2 monitor setup, mobile takes both screens over. Supposedly in the next OS, you’ll be able to mirror your screen in a windows, and even interact with it via your mouse. Which will be really handy for tutorials!

She's not just 'walking into shadow' she's walking down a bridge or into a tunnel, you can see the structure briefly enter frame on the top right corner. How impressive it creates a coherent world around her! I cannot see the app from current location, do anybody knows a fix to this?

That’s what I noticed as well. I thought it was glitching out them BAM! She’s entering a dark hall. If you’re on ios, just type the search. It won’t auto fill since it’s in mandarin but when you hit search, it should be the 2nd result. Just match up the icon from this video.

You don’t actually have to write prompts in Chinese. Writing in English works just fine.
