you can cross that bridge with just the base teleportation if you get on top of the hills to its right as you approach from town. There is a point where it feels like you cant get past and the cliff drops into the water, but you can carefully walk along that cliff face and use the teleport button to get up the other side. In fact that teleport button can get you to many places you shouldn't be able to early on if your clever about it.

The secret is out, boys! Some people don't like this kind of grind, but I enjoy it so much when I discover these 'clever' ways of leveling up with minimum effort. Like when you reach first draughr dungeon in Skyrim, and they sleep. You put your face in a corner, press crouch and put something on W key to move forward while facing the corner. Leave it like that a few minutes and you are a master in stealth :) My only disappointment is that I did not think of this on my own. What I usually did in ATT was using some weak daggers on weak enemies for a quick few levels in combat.

Another tip: If you add a flint picaxe-style to a torch then you can use any ore to light the torch

great vid! the flint strat works good and flint is an easy thing to get but kills them quite fast. What I do is this same strat but with wooden swords which take time to make but have much more durability and do much less damage so you can get more xp per wyrm.

Personally I think it’s much more efficient to craft duel bell handles with arrowheads on each of the attachment points. You just go up to an enemy and twist your wrists a couple times and it logs several “hits” per second. You will have to craft roughly 8 of these to go from 0 to lvl 4.

Work on quest too, just use the sharp side on the flint to attack the Wrym, u will hear sound when u successfully attack, upgrade is real fast for this, I get my air slash about less than 5 Wrym kills.

An entire extra bar. 8 is what you start with, 20 is the max you can obtain and keep.

Tried this on the Quest 2 and the flint trick did not work for me. I made zero progress. I was able to change my floor level and get below the strikes. That was nifty. But despite thousands of hits with the flints my skill level did no increase. I eventually gave up and went up above the mines and jumped on a rock and used a pick axe to kill rock monsters. That leveled me up very quickly for some reason. Thank you for your video though. Your content is very good and I appreciate you.

Do hits against players still give exp? I remember at one point, maybe more than a year ago, people were boxing with sandstone to combat train. Sandstone did almost no damage (not sure if it still does) and you could simply swing rapidly at each other to score a ton of hits. If one player got low heath they would step out of the fight and heal up, then the sparing continued. I feel like this was really easy and they would have patched it out, but I haven't tried it since then.

it is not makable by 100% because... i play on the quest 2. and those wyrms have a fast attack too, means they do 4 slicings with their claws from left to right and as final move a slice from above. This happens not in every fight but no matter how deep on the ground you are, the last cut hits you, cheating groundhugger that you are... SO you still have to move yourself from time to time. But the fact alone that a low damage weapon levels you faster with less kills then a sharp & excellent sword is a disgrace itself and i hope the Devs will change this soon. If you are not brave enough to fight those critters then go and pic up the feathers in your village as profession.

I’d still say it’s a grind of its own and I’m not sure how seeing someone else doing it would break the immersion for another player but to each their own. I’d assume you’d just do it in a more immersive way yourself instead. These types of leveling strats have been in RPGs since they existed and still are. Same for mining or blacksmithing in almost any game like this outside of VR as well.

It's a great game and these are methods used similarly to other grinders where getting xp was the goal in order to advance to further mining, etc. Not saying it's for everyone but the game is 100% fun :) thanks for watching.
