I don't know what's going on... I can't save my notepad file as it says "Access Denied". Now I know this is because the folder is "read-only", but I went into the EA Games folder properties and unchecked the "read-only" box, hit apply, checked the box so that it will make the changes to all sub-folders and files inside them, hit ok, and them continued under administrator. It then says it's making the changes, but it still won't let me save my file... What's going on?!

oneee laasst question my friend. :) whenever i put a custom map on battlefield and it loads perfectly but whenever i choose a team and weapons and click done it crashes. why oh why

ok. edit the file in notepad then save it in desktop as the same name as the one you just opened. then open the directory you opended the file from and if you have windows 7 drag the window to the right so it will snap to side. then click and drag the file you saved on desktop onto the folder and it will say " do you want to copy and replace " and hit yes then it will say u need admin then hit the continue button ( with the picture of admin sheild on it) and there you go! Hope this helps :D

Mine doesn't have this. I opened the bf2 file in notepad, opened the mod folder and all it has is a cache folder and the two other folders inside that one. PLEASE HELP

that really depends on the map, the graphics and resolution, but a 3Ghz Quad, and a 2GB graphics card, and 4gb ram should do good :) but, i would buy a quad 3.4Ghz, and either a 3GB graphics card or sli/dual 2gb graphics card ;) ram is up to you :P

the bots are per-map, so if you up the bot number in a map and the mod uses that map, it should work. if you're using a modded map, you'll have to open that map up using this same process

For steam, it would likely be under your steamapps directory. Search on DuckDuckGo for "steam steamapps windows"

Or the question is, can the game's engine handle it, and can it properly scale the AI across multiple cores? If not, it would be down to the clock frequency.

It is simple right click AIdefault.ai go to properties go to security then click edit, click on users and check mark full control then apply simple and uncheck read only
