My secret is to simply be polite and actually say, “trick or treat!” Most kids aren’t very polite and will just take the candy and leave. Use your manners and you might just be surprised! And also, ask homeowners when they will stop giving candy, so for example, if they say 9:00, u want to be at that house by 9, as they will be giving all their candy away.
