Hi there! Yes, you can and should definitely add text overlays to home decor pins especially if it’s redirecting to a blog post or a roundup post. Home decor is generally popular on Pinterest so you can get click throughs with bright, pleasing images and a click-worthy title :)

May I pin the same pin in multi boards? Like today, I pin the pin to board 1, tomorrow I pin the same pin to board 2, the day after tomorrow I pin the same pin to board 3. What if I have 100 pins and go pinning to multi boards. They all are repeated day after day, but in different boards.

The questions is are all the different pins linked to different 100 pages? If the answer is yes then you should be fine saving each pin one time a day to a different board each day. Pinterest recommends having at least 5 relevant boards for each piece of content on your site, so it's not considered spammy that you save the same pin to multiple relevant boards. It's only considered spammy when you do it in a short period of time, like multiple pins from the same page in one day.

It looks like I can't see descriptions where they used to be shows (under the board title to which the pin was saved) - and I can see that my pins do have pin descriptions when I try to edit them (in desktop). They are definitely testing out something with descriptions, but things like this happened before and then descriptions came back. I would keep adding pin descriptions until Pinterest makes any official statement in regards to descriptions.

Hi! Thank you for finding my videos helpful! Actually, it will depend on you. If you want your board to look cohesive or appealing design-wise, then you will want to remove it. However, it is also best to leave your old pins because it can still generate clicks or impressions.

@@AnastasiaBlogger Thanks for the tip! I had an image that had no text overlay on it (I had created it years ago), and it is more horizontal in shape. It is at the bottom of my board, however, so I think what I'll do is create a new pin in the recommended size, add the text, and pin at the top. I'll leave the old one, even though it only has 3 saves. lol! I also watched your video on getting blocked/suspended, because that's what happened to my account for some reason. Turns out they were very apologetic and immediately unblocked it. It sounds like it's the spam-crawlers that automatically tend to block an account, but a quick email to creative support was the ticket to a fast reply--thanks again for that tip, too!
