Perfect your client experience and get even more 5-star reviews! I use these tactics in my own business, and have recently put extra strategies to work. Overall, my order-to-rating ratio was only about 66%, but now I'm getting about 87% of my clients to take the time to leave heartfelt positive reviews. It's easier than you think to get positive reviews on Fiverr (as long as you're also pricing appropriately, communicating efficiently, and delivering high-quality service that matches your gig descriptions and package outline.)

Hi Carrie, When I first started on Fiverr 5 months ago. It would crush me when people wouldn't leave feedback. I just couldn't understand why. Now I believe that some people maybe want to remain anonymous or maybe feel embarrassed about having to use Fiverr in the first place. Now I accept that not everybody is going to leave feedback and after all they are paying for a service and I received the money for the work I did. So, if they don't want to leave feedback it's okay.

Yes - sometimes that’s also true. That’s why I only ask twice - no spam, just a polite, personal request. If they still choose not to, it’s not a problem. Some of my favorite repeat clients are in this camp, but I still always ask! 🙃

Thank you, Carrie. This is helpful advice. I had tried asking for reviews when I delivered the order, but your system sounds like a more effective approach. When you post samples, do you first ask permission of the buyer who ordered that work? So far, I've only posted samples of something I've written for myself. More and more people are asking for samples lately, which I'm grateful for. But it would save everyone a lot of time if a buyer could skip that step. Thanks, again! I did ask for permission for many of my portfolio samples, but I also retain personal creative rights to do so. I just make sure to format them as images instead of site text to ensure that it won’t result in a strike for them as duplicate content. You can see how I have my portfolio site set up at carrieblogger.com (I just gave it a big design overhaul!)
