Sorry and respectfully this entire video is wrong. The red light only comes on if the antenna match is bad. Read the manual!! Additionally modulation can not be properly adjusted without using an oscilloscope or mod meter. And if you diddle around with the modulation without the proper equipment you will just over mod it and create all kinds of splatter and distortion.

That is wrong if that light flashes or goes solid red, that's your antenna light and that means your SWR is too high and you need to tune your antenna to bring them down to1.5 or 1.0 to be perfectly tuned, you don't want that light to come on or even flash because you'll burn up your final in your radio. The VR4 turnpod you are correct that is for modulation increase but there's three other pods you need to adjust too.
