I'm new to Ranked trying to get to gold for the first time. This is very informative on how SR works and how to improve your HPR. Currently Silver 1 and I think the game must think I should be around silver because I when from getting 70-80 SR per win to 40-50 since I hit Silver 1. I hope it won't be too much more of a grind to get to Gold 1. I noticed that in some games I'm playing against a teams of 3 Golds and 1 Silver even though I'm just a Silver 1.

HPR is definitely a major thing- I was capped out when I hit plat 1 only getting like 30 sr a win but I went on a 10 win streak duoing against high plats or diamonds that I assume had higher HPR then me and ever since then I've been getting 50-60 a win and only losing like 20-25 SR even if I play absolutely horribly. game probably things I'm supposed to be high plat/low diamond based on my HPR

Been stuck in gold 3 for awhile now. Doesn't matter if i got the highest score of the game, im getting 32 sr per game. Then losing 27 on every loss. Unless i go on a fkn 15 win streak (solo) ill never see plat.

Try and get a squad going if you can mate, when you go win loss win loss constantly the game thinks you’re at the correct rank so it gives you +-30 a game and you have to go on a streak to beat it which is far easier in a team

I got to diamond 1 in the previous game. I'm hard stuck Plat 2. I've been hard stuck Plat 2 and 3 for over a week. I noticed the matchmaking only has two options for me. Option one it gives me host and matches me with 3 gold players and it expects me to hard carry, or option two enemy team has host and I can't get a kill. It's either one or the other for me. Causing me to nearly lose every game I play.

There isn’t hosting on this game as there is dedicated servers, but the match making can be rough at times, try and get at least a duo to play with so you can rely on at least 1 person

So i get how the hpr and sr works. But if im on a purple flame (7 win) solo queue and averaging a 1.7 kd and over 120 seconds on point or 6 caps per game. Why am i stuck with 30-40 sr? Is my shit just bugged? Did they fix that for season 4? Season 3 i played a lot better. In 2 hours i was silver 2 and then got whacked with 25 sr and getting 3 defuses in a snd. 2 plants. And 12 kills with a dub.

I tried Ranked Play for the first time yesterday. I dont understand the different animals in each "color" (bronze, silver, gold, etc) i am a Snake II level 4....so i have to go through all those animals (snake to dragon) in each one, bronze, silver, gold, etc??? And i play solo and i get stuck in lobbies with 3 gold players (wolf, alligators) and 1 silver all the time...i dont get why im not playing other bronze snake players

It’s just the symbol for different ‘levels’ so 1-10 is a Snake, think like 2-29 is a crocodile or something, obliviously someone who is Lvl 15 crimson looks more impressive than someone who is level 35 crimson

it will still go down but maybe not as much as if you were bottom of the leaderboard, also if you are in the higher ranks its more focused on team score rather than inidividual

Im Silver 3 rank 12, ~2000 sr. Had a 14 winstreak and my sr each win got lower every game. Started with about 75 and last win was 38. so I don’t think win streak will help. I was always top 1-2 player too. So the game thinks I don’t deserve more than gold I guess?

Okay so this confusing asf so I’m diamond 1, my buddies I only play when they play they are both gold and they get so little sr like 40 or 30 while I’m in diamond 1 and getting sometimes 60 to 80 sr so I’m just so lost

It's because their HPR rating is close to their actual rank so the game thinks they are gold players, if you are diamond getting 60 to 80 it means your HPR is higher than your rank so the game is trying to push you to crimosn

This shouldnt be based on team performance so much, most people play solo/duo, we should not be held responsible for 1 or 2 people who blew it whether just that one game or regularly especially if 2 people on a team score 5k+ on a hardpoint, they shouldnt see an sr loss and certainly shouldnt see just +25 to 35 for a win thats insane! Gane devs are way too settled into the " random people playing together will go great" yet theres sufficient evidence disproving it, for years.....

@iSloshy I am on pc. Unfortunately the game has so many cheaters that everygame im seeing it. Its easy to tell on the killcam. The game is completely ruined for me. Im gold 3 26. Worst I ever done before. If I four stack or go solo no matter how good I do I end up losing. I have been disconnected 17 times. Lost so much sr. Get 28 a win. 30 a loss. Just rediculous. I thought this game was supposed to end cheating. And I would play console but now I use a ps5 controller and I only have Xbox. Really crazy the lobbies are unfair too. I go up against Diamond and plat and win. And then a sliver lobby of four ran me over. The ranks are all over the place.

there is so much wrong with this. i am playing on pc and if you cannot climb out of gold cheaters are not the problem. most of the cheaters are at higher ranks. second point: you get owned by silvers because there are good players in this bracket. the season was so short, not all good players climbed up to red or something. some bronze, silver and gold players did just not play enough at his point.

Yes ur both right hackers are more in the higher divisions of course. Crimson. Top250. But that doesn’t mean that what I’m saying is not true. I dont just report someone cause they win or there good. I just am frustrated bc even after I wrote this it happend again I saw it in the killcam clear as day. dont report people bc there good. I dont wanna shutdown there ability to play just not that guy. that just means you're not as consistent as other players who have an HPR/MMR that is equivalent to crimson or iridiscent. The players who are currently in iridiscent or crimson players probably ran past silver in a few games because they consistently top the scoreboard game after game, getting a minimum of 30 kills every hardpoint game they played in silver lobbies. The algorithm will notice that that guy dropping 30 bombs game after game isnt truly a silver player and actually has the skill of a iridiscent/crimson so they will get more SR than the average player in an effort to get them out of silver as soon as possible cause its not fair for other silver players to keep playing against guys of that skill level

If ur getting 60 the game wants you to be in gold to plat, but at the lower ranks SR is based a lot on personal performance, so keep performing well and you should keep climbing bro

Big win streaks dont work. I regularly get 7+ win streaks but my sr is stuck at 40 while my team mates are getting 150. MP ranked is stupid. Wz is better because you the points on how you perform

Your team mates get more SR because their HPR rating is higher, need to keep winning and performing well to make the HPR improve

Mostly if you have a good team to communicate. Also pay attention to kill feed and minimap. If you see all four enemies taken out. Hop on point. If its open. Try getting everyone close by enough to hop on point and get trade outs. Its what got me silver 3 in 2 hours

My SR is bs I been getting like 40-50 lately closer to 40 more often. I hard carry damn near every single game. My teammates almost are never at the same skill level as me. I’m gonna say at least like 60% of my games are like this. Let’s it’s hardpoint I could go 30 and 10 with 50 seconds playing for spawns and bouncing in and out of point. I always rotate anywhere from 25-10 seconds left on current point yet damn near no one I get teamed up with have any game IQ but the other team damn near always a 4 stack.. I’m lucky if I can convince my buddy to play anymore. I’m mainly solo Q gold 2. Any solutions or tips?

best thing to do is try and team up with ppl who play the game well in ur ranks, eventually you'll get a decent squad together, even myself solo queueing around crimson, sometimes people genuinely don't understand how to play the game even at that rank

one of the best things to do is to play in a 4 stack, the main thing thats gonna make ur SR improve is winning games consistently and going on streaks, which is far easier when you're in a team and all communicating

thats because the games system thinks it's got you at the rank it's calculated you should be at, so if you keep going on good winstreaks and dropping good kills and obj your SR will begin to climb

It will be cause your HPR rating is close to your current rank, the more you win the higher your HPR will go which means the more SR you can get

I'm just gonna say this whole system is too manipulative and bottom line, complete bs. When you are solo you can't control your team, you have no idea who you're against, so all you can do is try to crush everyone on your own and you simply can't do that in gold/plat unless you are iridescent level, so if you are legit diamond level player you absolutely won't make it there, just from a time perspective because you have to grind so hard while other who are albeit better just fly past you and have fun on the way. It should just be a straight up, you win you win, you lose you lose, SR is based on performance in that moment, in that game and not boosted or crippled by some janky HPR bs in the background. The winners will still win, the losers will still lose and everyone is getting sorted into their division at the same rate and it all happens organically so we all have a fair shake and aren't forced to grind and get demoralised by the whole system shafting you. Let's not forget their atrocious servers that LITERALLY cost you performance and the win from match to match, depending on where you live because of SBMM. The amount of times I have been beaten by bad players because the game decided not to register my mag dump in the back and allowed them to turn and two tap me, with the same gun, is insane and can cause anyone to check tf out and give up up on the match or the streak or the game completely, meanwhile the "HPR" is watching and saying "that team were dog **** and you really should have beaten them, so we're gonna dock you maximum SR AND lower your HPR". F this game

Okay but……. The only reason why I lose is because I keep playing with fucking scrubs making me lose. If I had 3 other decent team mates I would be climbing. Hard stuck at gold because I get scrubs every 2-3 matches then would get maybe one good team then repeat scrubs for the next 2-3 matches smfh. I literally carry all the games, they should implement something for the person who carries the whole team 😂😂
