Nice video! I just read your "why i'll never f***ing freelance ever again" story on Medium which I guess showed up on my feed since I am planning on hitting the road and trying to work remotely and freelance like you did! I like the tips for getting more Medium viewers. I just wrote my first story on Medium in over two years earlier this month, and after watching this I just went and switched two of my tags (that I originally threw in there just in order to use all 5 tags) that only had a combined 145 people following them to two that have a combined around 200,000 following them!

Does having a paid member get your more views? I notice there are random stories on Medium that will get a ton of exposure, and when you click on the author's profile they only have 1 story and barely any followers. Yet I have been a free member on Medium for three years and have published hundreds of stories, and yet I continue to get zero views. It really would not surprise me if Medium algorithm favors money, just the way I see it.
