You have no idea how amazing the timing for this video is. I finished High school in December and I've been feeling very lost. I don't have a job and have no passions or dreams so I have no idea what to do, whether study or work. My father and older brother want to force me into any job they can find so I can bring money to the house (most likely to either afford more alcohol or to pay off my dad's debt) ,but I don't wat to forced into something just to give them everything I earn. Luckily me, my mom and younger brother are already preparing to leave and move away so they cant torment us anymore and I can hopefully get therapy or smt. But my dad and brother have gotten worse recently which resulted in me entering a big slump where I don't see the point in life and just lie in bed all day, only doing my chores so I don't get extra trouble from my dad. This was the motivation I needed to get up, try to fix my health and hopefully clear my acne soon so that I've already made progress once we get out of here. Thank you so much

I think that small steps help already with getting out of a slump. I have just sorted a huge pile of papers on my desk and it already feels satisfying and like enough for today. If I have such goals like cleaning the whole apartment while I am in a slump, I easily get demotivated. I think that's too much especially considering the other goals on the list and that no one can help me with cleaning in the moment. But I mean if it helps you and others, that's great :) Just sharing my experience.

when you feel like you are in a slump for a really long time. not productive and just doomed scrolling all day, just start doing sport whatever you like. force yourself, no matter how lazy you are. you can go to the gym, jogging, or playing team sports with friends, choose what you prefer. Because in my case, once I forced myself to do sport, then I will get my energy and spirit after doing that. So I can start being productive.
