I always worry about retail stores with their circus mirrors too! But I am not good at deciphering my measurements for online shopping, so I just go to the brick and mortar stores and just try stuff on anyways! And plus, I like shopping for new things like for example, at the mall. The mall, I can't do anything about the mirrors but at least when I shop at thrift stores, I am sure the mirrors are just normal ones. So, I can gauge how the clothes really look on me in thrift stores and in my friend's consignment shop. My friend just uses normal standard mirrors as well! Great tips in the video and I love the sneaker story! Such beautiful connections you make with clothes to experiences!

You should make a video about how to make outfits/uniform only for work and have your clothes for your time out of work. I love to wear black but my uniform for a beauty store is also only wearing black and I don't know how to not wear the same clothes for work and for out of work, help!

I have to try things on because most clothes don't fit me properly. Also the way most brands cut out their peices means that if one of the blades is even a millimetre off the ones at the bottom of the stack can end up being a completely different size to the one at the top despite the measurements being listed as the same

Zalina R I have a similar situation- firstly, there are certain things that I buy from thrift stores. Jeans, skirts without pleats, durable knitwear, black t shirts. Skirts with pleats (they tend to lose their shape with washes and since a lot of people do throw them in the washer and dryer, they aren’t always in good condition at a thrift store), less durable knitwear, white t shirts and button ups, under garments... these are things I buy new with few exceptions. But more importantly, I style my clothes differently now. That sweater that I love the look of but never used to wear because it’s itchy, I now wear a white collared shirt underneath, tuck it into a pair of jeans better and pair it with loafers. These are things I already had in my wardrobe and never wore together before. Similarly, a beautiful skirt that I now wear at least once a month and have had for years sat in my closet for too long because it was supposed to be midi-length but was floor length on me and didn’t look great. So I hemmed it to fit well, and it’s now a staple. There’s an idea called “shop your closet”, where you basically treat your closet like a new store and get creative with how you pair the clothes you see. Ps: your English is just fine!
