If those bunkers are high come see what we have coming.I have been using your set up for ages with some success but soon I will be struggling in the new steep bunkers as I cannot swing any harder.

Why is it that I can play bunker shots out of some sand easier than others? I reach a point where I get paranoid to leave it short and paranoid that I will pick it clean and hit a flyer when I don't want to. This just keeps getting worse and worse the more I struggle. I really wasn't struggling with bunkers much until my last golf trip, then it became a bit of a nightmare.

Because bunker sand can differ in depth, consistency, you need to be adaptable, the advantage on being in a bunker it that you can gauge sand conditions with your feet, as a general rule, if there isn't much sand use a wedge with less bounce, more sand more bounce.
