These are some basic tips and tricks that many low ranked players overlook. So i'm just pointing out that paying more attention to these things may help you rank up more easily!

Tier lists arent too relevant to low level cause they're made by pros they often don't consider the skill level needed. You're not going to climb out of Silver easily with like Alarak, Zeratul, Genji, etc Good overall advice tho

You are absolutely right. :) But it doesn't really hurt you to know which heroes are the strongest atm. Thank you for the feedback, it's always appreciated. 😊

I know my heroes, have a good understanding of the game and it's mechanics. I watch a lot of grandmaster games, but I can't escape silver/gold. everyone just insta-locks, only ever pick assassins, always over extend, do not know how to play defensively, solo laners never solo. it's so stupid. I'm getting more fun out of quickmatch than ranked which is just stupid if you ask me.

All of this is true. With the changes to leagues, I got one more tip to give you: Play with friends if possible or if your friends don't really play Hots, try making new ones inside the game. I know the community can be toxic, but there are also good and kind people among them and when you encounter such pol, try adding them to your friends list and have another game with em. Also Grandmaster level of gameplay is very different to silver/gold so I wouldn't try to copy it too much. Ofc you can get good pointers from there too.

Can't stress taking a break. When you're playing well and having a win streak ideally don't stop playing games. As soon as you lose a game or two at most just stop playing and take a large break. It's stupid but being on tilt and grinding out games is always a bad idea because climbing ranked is more or less an endurance race. You need to pace yourself and think in longer terms of matches

Well, killing yourself definately won't help you climb the ladder. The tips on this video are the most basic things that can help with your climb. Just by paying attention to what your team needs and communicating with your team can help a bunch. Basically what i'm trying to say here is more widely explained on the video. 😊

If a game is making you consider suicide, it is in your best interest to stop playing. Go play something more rewarding and fun. I used to play League of Legends religiously for three years, and realized due to the toxicity, that I myself was becoming toxic. I became angrier day by day, short temper. One night I realized I was mean to one of my family, and decided that day to quit League of Legends. NEVER looked back since. HoTs is the best replacement, there is still frustration, but not as much toxicity (at least for now). TLDR: Stop playing HoTs, play something you like instead. Your game time is to enjoy, not to be sad. And as always call the Suicide hotline (assuming you're not troll)
