I've only just now (about three months ago now), after nineteen years have I accepted a slither of ShadAmy and been okay with it. This comic hit me in the damn kokoro🥺♥. The final shot reminds me of when Amy convinced Shadow to save humanity in SA2, right before Shadow leaves, he tells Amy "I have to keep my promise to Maria... And you." I learned of this scene when I played SA2 for the first time last christmas and wow... I'm amazed not enough ShadAmy shippers discuss that line (as far as I know, that is). Many (at least the loudest voices as far as I'm concerned) have linked their ShadAmy ship back to the scene where Amy ran into Shadow, hugging him, mistaking him for Sonic. Alas, this is my own interpretation on this and please do correct me if I'm wrong on any of the details on this topic, have a nice day!💮💜
