I had this exact same thought three years ago when my dad died. It was terrible for months but eventually it becomes normal. The memories you have don’t leave you and they stay alive forever. That might sound cringy and delusional, but three years on I feel good when I think about my dad, not sadness. No words can help the pain for a while, I remember. Just one day at a time

This is an amazing video, highlights so many ego defense mechanisms we use to get ourselves off the hook and just conveniently dismiss our own destructive cognitive and behavioral tendencies. Great reminder to always keep looking in the mirror and examine our own flaws and shortcomings. There are always two parties in every interaction. It's a fine line defending yourself from win-lose behaviors by others and adressing your own lack of self-generating and petty behavior. It's okay, we can practice compassion for others while also drawing boundaries when needed and also draw self-boundaries when we are on bad behavior ourselves and practice self-compassion simultaneously.

You hit that narcissist trend on the head. Mostly it comes from girls who barely understand the word's meaning, and don't wanna take any accountability for their own behaviour or mistakes in a relationship. I've heard it a few times during/after a breakup, and I went inward to see if there was any truth to it, but of course there wasn't.

Exactly why my ex broke up with me. Told her she needed to work on her trust issues (I could of been WAY more gentler though because I came in her house like a goddamn firebreathing dragon tearing shit up, and that's what ultimately well idk I think there was other stuff going on and I think she used that experience as an excuse to break up but honestly idk because a week later after she came back to my place and we had sex so now I have no idea what it meant, I think she didn't want to lose me but she also doesn't fucking care anymore so now I'm just confused and yeah things got pretty bad because I didn't understand why any of this was happening....it was pretty fucked up and am still no contact with her.
@tylerdurden7965

Yeah ive noticed this as well, you go onto the narcissist videos and the comments are just 90% full of women hating on how bad men are, when really their choosing these men and just dont want to take any accountability for their own actions. NPD is a real thing and it does exist, but for many people its become a crutch to victimize themselves and not self reflect.

@@marselshtylla oh man forreal it’s absolutely crazy thinking back on some of their old videos. I remember a long video of Julien just on the phone playing mind games with some girl that he randomly would see when he arrived in town like once a year, and he’s totally just running her on a roller coaster of emotions about how much he cared about her while Owen’s laughing next to him. I definitely don’t fault any of them for their past, because it was a different time for sure, but I think it is weird to just ‘hide’ or ignore it and not just own both your mistakes and successes equally.

@Marsel I don't think he wants it to be mainstream, his level of content and thinking is literally incompatible with the level of consciousness the average individual resonates with. We seek not to conform to the ways of the world, but to make the world conform to our superior, ideal ways of being. No one is perfect obviously, but the Faustian spirit of restlessness will see a revival as Western Civilization collapses and we fulfill it's destiny, no longer will we be plagued by the human sickness of complacency, consumerism, and conformity.... The Imperium will rise from the ashes of this controlled collapse, and the strong alone will live on to push Civilization towards a state of readiness for the next Aeon, the Space Age Renaissance and complete domination of the Universe. Forget about the rest of these people. They're simply dead weight, and not fit to go on with us to the next age.

When someone is an out of control cheater who deceives not just you but others multiple times, it's pretty safe to say that they aren't your "friend." And the reason why they do this without shame or remorse is because the feel entitled and there aren't any consequences because they don't care about anyone in the first place. They are simply after that constant novelty buzz.

From the perspective of someone who feels inclined to totally discard other people sometimes , if someone is really charismatic and high-status, you can feel powerless in the relationship. If it seems like they don't value you as much as you value them, it's very painful and you want to get out. The only way to break free is to erase the memories of them in the brains file-system. It's not even about hurting the other person, you legitimately just want to break the addiction.

Good alternate point of view. I agree that wayy too many people are focusing on finding an excuse to calling their ex a narcissist… but just like I would take that perspective with a grain of salt I also think Owens perspective should be taken with a grain of salt as sometimes the ex really needs to be out of your life for good and seeing them as a “friend” and feeling empathy towards them may mean giving them excuses to come back and mess up your life all over again. That doesn’t mean the good memories never happened on the contrary they are something to be cherished but just as that… memories. Are all exes narcissist def not, but setting boundaries and definitely ending/ cutting the relationship sometimes does need to happen.
@tylerdurden7965

Yeah, i think there's a fine line there and you have to be careful. I understand the point owens trying to make regarding getting the negative poison out of you, but at the same time... showing everyone forgiveness, empathy, calling them your friend and being nice to them can be dangerous and open the door back up to unhealthy relationship cycles.

It's just a natural reaction to the propaganda that's put out by population control people, those without personal power, family values, a significant identity, etc. will of course latch on to that bandwagon and help the watchers spread that wave with as much zest as possible. Some of those people even get paid to do weird stuff like that by geopolitical think tanks. I agree that it's dark, but we're gonna see a whole more darkness before we reach the light, so brace yourself! The weirdos will perish by right of their own self-hatred and destruction, being against more life AKA having lots of babies is literally setting yourself against the biological impulse of life. I'd love to give some feedback: You're great at crafting catchy titles, just don't forget that they also should match the content as accurately as possible. Sometimes it feels like, as a viewer, that you're not entirely getting what you expected when clicking on the video. Like in this case. I get that this is the result of doing an improvised speech and trying to find a label for it, instead of coming up with a topic/title first and then creating content for it. Quality is still great, as usual. You'd probably just a lot more views if title and content were in alignment.
