The "organizing" part doesn't scare me, but the "business" part does-setting up an LLC, getting bonded and insured, taxes, etc.

I get that! The key is working with and asking the right questions to advisors (CPA, attorney, insurance agent, and local gov't officials). Are you in my courses? If so, look for a document called the "Business Discovery Guide" for help

Adding on to Katherine's input, networking in the community is super helpful! Building on those connections will provide the opportunity to connect with others that will be a great link to these 'supports' to help with the 'business' side of things!

What is the best approach to taking before and after photos?

Always get permission from your client. I find it's easier to take lots of close-up pictures - inside closets and drawers, or a photo of a particular product - than large spaces since for me I do not decorate my client's houses.

I've done a few jobs but I signed an NDA so I couldn't take pics or anything 🫠🫠 what do you do in that situation? Do I tell future clients why I don't have many pictures yet?? Haha it was a big project too

It's hard to get photos on every job for that reason and client confidentiality. When you get a job that you can take photos on, get LOTS and spread them out over time on your social media. And/OR let's say on that job you did some awesome drawer organizing, hangers, or something ... you can talk about that product with stock photos of the product or talk about similar looks in your home. I'll say "on a recent job I used these space saving hangers", but I won't show the hangers in the client's home. Make sense🤔It can still be content!
