Very helpful video, thank you for taking the time to put this together. A few bits of feedback: 1) Your first few words were so fast i repeated the video 10 times and still couldn't understand what you said! 2) Loved when you dropped the pen lid and cursed - was a very human moment. Thanks for leaving that unedited. 3) End of video fades out while you are still speaking, implying a premature finish to the video.

Hey crizza2000! Thanks for your kind words and the feedback :) 1) What I said was: "Hi this is Friedemann Findeisen from Holistic Songwriting and today on Producer's Edge, we're gonna talk about how to get your music out there" :) But I agree, it's very fast. 2) Glad you enjoyed my clumsiness ;) 3) Good point. I've stopped doing producer's edge for now for those very reasons - I want a bit more experience with editing, speaking, filming and lighting first. Have you seen my new videos? I think they are a big improvement over this - would love to hear your opinion on them :)

I don't think paying for ads work anymore. At least, not in an organic way. Great video!

It's hard to do amazing stuff in short periods of time. The main reason I don't buy many albums anymore is that the songs are in the same style. But I am not normal.

Yeah... I’m building my audience with posts and hash tags here and there. My goal is to have at least 100 super fans... As soon as I’m out of his oil field I’ll be able to post videos more regularly and stuff Facebook is super helpful

Very helpful video! Wondering how a young artist can interact with fans but still have an image with a little bit of mystery. Is this something that can be balanced?

Who's buying CD's again?
@Sk8rocka7 жыл бұрын
I don't think selling them is very viable unless they look great, but giving away burnt/ DIY cds is a great way to get music out there.
