I learned 90% of what you say in this video by trail and error, most the videos I watched when I first started were more of “watch me do my makeup and talk” but I love that you did this after seeing other people follow your videos it’s pretty cool you took the time to explain what you mean

He teaches in his videos & remembers who his target audience is..keeping in mind that not everyone can afford things or know how to do things. And he has some of the best ideas for his videos..he takes things and makes them his own.

Exactly! He actually explains the pros and cons for each step he's doing and the nitty gritty of it and it's so relatable like how to secure foundation while contouring the nose and the use of a pencil brush for applying highlighter on the nose bridge... it's really the most detailed makeup tutorial i've seen so far, he should come out with a book "makeup for dummies" 😁 and most of his vids are a good 30mins but they're so informative and lively (with good sense of humour) that i don't find a single boring moment... i think the reason he speaks so fast is because he has so many things to share and he's trying to squueze everything into a 30mins vid... can clearly see why he has 16mil subs in such of short period of time, good job and thanks sister James 👏💖

@alexispraga55376 жыл бұрын
Kaysey Castro its not that bad all you gotta do is clean your face with warm water and soap everyday and night if you wear makeup then make sure to take off your make up before your sleep or if u sweat then wash your face keep your hair out of your face make sure your hands are clean cause dirt can cause breakouts so just wash your face , hands and drink water

Alexis Praga not that easy for everyone, some people have genetically bad skin. i don’t have awful skin but no matter how good my skin routine is, my skin is never flawless. my brother has awful skin, despite washing his face everyday with soap (boy doesn’t use facial wash or moisturiser despite it being on the siNK so it’s partly his own fault lmao)

Drugstore dupes for all the products he mentions Water cream - neutrogena hydrogel Primer- revlon pore reducing Foundation- cyo life proof for dry/combo (even oily) L’Oréal true match or L’Oréal pro matte for oily Also for foundation you could add in a little catrice hd liquid coverage for some extra coverage Concealer - the saem concealer, makeup revolution concealer, collab concealer (Sally’s beauty) or la girl pro conceal Powder- for dry skin I would suggest the Maybelline for me powder and for oily the innisfree no sebum powder Mac fix plus- catrice glow spray Bronzer- collab bronzer, physicians formula butter bronzer For light skinned gals I would choose la girl just blushing powder in just because for contour, it is super cool toned and can look a little gray but you can always warm it up for any skin colors I would reccomend the profusion contour palette or the nyx contour palette The nyx blushes are beautiful as well as the Milani luminous and the milani rose blushes. It’s all up to preference For blinding highlighter I would reccomend the color pop supershock or the maybelline powder highlight For setting spray the nyx matte or dewy skin setting sprays are bomb AF Luv you sisters hope this helps

PSA: The majority of the time oily skin is the product of your body being dehydrated. Your skin if trying to make up for the lack of water by producing oil. If you start drinking more water (about 8 bottles a day, start off with 1-2 and make your way up) you will see a DRASTIC change in your skin. Not to say everyone with oily skin is dehydrated but I can almost guarantee if you drink a lot more water you'll soon notice you skin isn't oily. I read this online once and because, at the time I had really bad oily skin, I started carrying a water bottle around with me and it truly helped. My skin is barely to never oily anymore, only where I wear my glasses lol. Honestly if I think about it, it was almost immediately that I saw changes. I'm talking within a week, my skin felt/looked better. Also reducing acne an benefiting hair growth. Basically water is the solution to everything. Repost to save a life

also too people with oily skin are scared of moisturizer and oils. using argon oil on my face at night has SAVED ME. it actually makes me less oily
@bambibabie10737 жыл бұрын
Water intake goes by weight too! My mom always says to take half of your weight (I’m 80 pounds but very small so I’m healthy) and divide by two so I would drink 40 fluid ounces
@bambibabie10737 жыл бұрын
one more thing to add is that moisturizer is important because your skin is dry so it feels like it needs to produce more oil. Putting moisturizer on will remind your skin that you are hydrated and it won’t produce as much oil

I love this video for the main reason of you point out how you remember there are people who aren’t on the same higher level of makeup as others. I’m JUST starting to get into it (meaning i bought my first morphe brush and eye pallet yesterday lol). I’ve been trying to find starter videos to help teach me but a LOT of beauty gurus kinda assume everyone watching is in the same placeas they are. However, this video is absolutely perfect and I learned SO SO much that I’m going to apply to my makeup routines. Thank you for keeping us little buds in mind who are trying to blossom 💓

“If you’re like me and you lay out and tan and you just get BURNED” relatable
@melissacoviello28865 жыл бұрын
I’m still shocked that living in LA he doesn’t pick up a little bit of a tan. I turn brown outside just from watering the garden and running errands ( Northern California). I know people struggle with burning, but while I know I am super blessed to have skin that naturally tans it also means I have a winter and summer color and sometimes a transition shade as well. 3 different foundations kinda sucks cause we know it’s hard to find one shade that works. Lol
