Yes...the exfoliation kills the dead cells that makes the lips black

Exfoliation removes the dead skin cells that darken the lips. This, in turn, lightens up the lips and shows the pinker skin underneath. Since the skin of our lips is so thin, the blood easily shows through. Giving them a pinkish color. If anything, she just lightened then color of her lips. Hope this cleared things up.

I researched about this and found out that just honey and sugar can be used to scrub. I want to ask if lime is really necessary? Well its 5 days now and it worked... My lip became more pink than it was. I couldn't find the Vaseline to buy so I bought another type and I see changes kazzz I do it every morning and m not planning on stoping for a month
