If you give him the Grace you get him as a summon. I gave the other dark Iris do the dark knight with the katana

yah. i did that not knowing their was a diffrence.....now i have two summons i dont want and am missing out on the weapons

There's two dark irises. I'm sure there's youtube guides on this

Doing the fights in other order, i.e. doing the Tower invasion first before the Church, works too in my experience.
