You just got the chomik itself, not the badge if you know what I mean. Similar things like this have happened to me so I recommend you to wait until it gives you the badge otherwise you won't get it.

It's because Ao is a death respawn realm. If you die there. You get auto-rejoined. There is no way around this.

I really like realmik but its kinda sad we dont get to see more of the older realms. Like in ocean realm I feel its too short, along with my other favorite realms like ao and frigid outskirts. Maybe there could have been like an obby where you jump on ice crystals or something in frigid outskirts and maybe ao oni chases you in ao down a hallway. And i am also glad that they nerfed desolate island. There is also the one stud obby in RR rhat I think should be nerfed. I still beat it relatively fast but I think it's too much of a difficulty spike. Thats my opinion on realmik. Edit: also i think there should be some more puzzles like obby realm. I think using the jtoh kit was clever. (alao in h the difficulty of realmik still is terrifying.)
