If a restaurant back-doored its way into my DM's I would do everything in my power to leave negative reviews and steer friends and family away. TRUTH

Good concept just feel like this would go straight to my spam folder just like every other restaurant that collects my info.

You never explain once exactly how this is this concept is accomplished... It "seems" like somehow you would leverage the act of scanning a QR code (with the guests expectation of receiving a menu) but without their knowledge or permission some pieces of personal information are extracted from their device and use for marketing purposes... Not exactly the best way to start a customer relationship.

This was meant for a high-level explanation. If you want to know the technicals, we recommend ManyChat. Super easy to use and they have some free tutuorials.

For $200, jesus. This doesnt seem that hard to do. Im not fimilar with facebook messenger, but I am aware of how whatsapp messaging works. All you gotta do is link your direct chat to the qr code. You can have an autoreply with your menu. This isn't worth 200$ buddy. Im sure within an hour I could figure out how to do this myself. Not really adding too much value here. Now if you had a way to automate sending email to the customer, and asking for feedback, that would be interesting.

Yes, those automations are interesting and we do those.

I don't use Facebook, but if I did, this would be a precise way to ensure I never returned to your restaurant. Yet another reason to dislike QR code menus. If you don't have a physical menu I'll leave.

Well I personally think QR Codes are much more better than physical menu cards. It makes the ordering experience much more fun and also makes the people have a safe feeling due to it being contactless. Since the pandemic, contactless options are go to for people and certainly you don't have to wait for ordering something. So, It is not necessary for you to upgrade your restaurant to online but rather it is an personal preference whether or not to go with the trend. Some people love offline restaurant, some love the restaurant having both of it! I like it online and when it comes to QR codes, I only use the QR codes from Orderific. Why do I use it? Because the whole Orderific is based on QR codes, and they also provide the service for restaurants' QR code menus, which is really good which helps me in managing my restaurant with ease and with a huge cost cutting from their part as most of my work is handled through Orderific which helps in cost cutting by reducing staff charges. You can check them out for the best QR code menus for restaurants, which will make your life easier by trying it out from here orderific.io/d.php?t=i0Xzjag&p1=c186&p2=y80&p3=&p4=&p5=
