Dan,great stuff again!I didn't know that you can include additional item for free with Amazon(thought you can only sell what is in your add description) so this is definitely helpful!Would you consider to follow up with more videos about how to create the lead magnet, gather customers info etc. step by step?BTW I tend to write feedbacks 'all in one go' but not straight away after I buy something.

Yeah Dan is a decent person to do this. You can tell that he has a good soul. He's been very helpful for those of us who aren't fortunate enough to afford those paid corses. I saw them and thought ah no I need even more money to make money. but I have a disability so don't even have a job, I thought I'll save enough for a product to sell on amazon and surely there'd be people on youtube explaining Amazon in step by step and general tips. theres a few on youtube, but I think Dan is the best and easiest to follow. He does't race through it either which is good too. Its so much appreciated.

Wow I can see Dan is responding to each comment and personally answering every follow-up question. Not all You-Tubers do this. Most You-Tubers use a VA to respond to comments and answer follow-up questions that they do not even understand because these VA's are not actually a seller on Amazon. (How can we trust a VA if they do not have experience as a seller). Here we have Dan who is a seller on Amazon and is personally answering questions, therefore its trust worthy to listen to him. Keep up the good work brother Dan. For as long as you personally answer each follow-up question, I can see you having Million subscribers in just 1 year. Thumbs up Dan

LIKE BUTTON SMASHED! I frequently purchase on Amazon and may only give 1 review out of 100 items I buy. The issue is the Amazon emails are so generic, and frankly annoying, I automatically delete them without opening. As someone who has over 15 years experience with online marketing and email campaigns, I am face-palming myself at how Amazon conducts these. Do what Dan says! You Better-entiate for the sale, you hook them with the "warm-and-fuzzies" to get them as a Client. That brings a captive audience, as long as you don't abuse it! I have used Mailchimp for over 10 years and love it. I would only add that If you use an auto email campaign, be sure to get proper training before you start as it is a whole other animal. I say this from experience as you can destroy your own URL's credibility in the SPAM filter department. Too many people click "spam" for your emails and POOF! You are now permanently listed as a spammer. 😭 Purchase a URL that is super similar with the same biz name in it. Ex: Ryobi.com is the website but use @RyobiTools.com as a sent from email address. Keeps everything seperate. If you have your own servers run those seperately too. I have had my site shut down because I was being hosted on a shared server. I wasn't blamed and it was resolved after several days once they moved me to my own server. But the downtime and credibility lost from the shutdown cost me many thousands. Thanks Dan!

Hi Dan, great video! Question though - if the customer follows up to actually leave a positive review and specifically mentions the free gift included, could this come back to hurt the seller later in any way? ie. Could your account get suspended for low-key "bribing" customers for reviews, even if you didn't specifically request it?

Great Video, but i have 2 questions: 1. I thought amazon doesn't like it when you redirect your customers to an external site? You would then do that in the form of this inlay card and they would then also have to do extra-work and check whether you want to sell other products on this landing page, apart from Amazon. 2. In addition: Doesn't Amazon check the contents of the package for such additional products before shipping?
@granthandley44203 жыл бұрын
Incredible video Dan! This is exactly what I'm in the works of doing, I'm in the process of getting my first product ready and I hope to come into the niche with shock. This was my idea from the get go to shock the customer and over deliver resulting in a good review and hopefully a another purchase when I release the second product. Although I don't have the biggest budget compared to other sellers and certainly not the Chinese suppliers I'm going to offer the customer a huge shock. Especially in the niche I'm launching in other sellers are very mundane and plain with everything so my aim is to well and truly stand out like a sore thumb. Especially with the packaging and the little touches. I want them to open the box and go WOW that's a lovely touch. However I'm also unsure on showing the packaging in the listing? Do I or don't I? I'd love your advice on the situation if you don't mind?
@DanRodgers3 жыл бұрын
You're thinking like a brand Grant! I would definitely show it on the listing, particularly if it could ever be bought as a gift. But in any case, especially if you have spent time on it, it adds perceived value and show the real value of what they get in the end
@granthandley44203 жыл бұрын
@@DanRodgers Great idea thanks for that Dan and oh for sure, the aim is to have multiple products and to be the king of the niche! Great video but isnt this against Amazon TOS? Aren't free gifts considered bribing a customer for reviews? Also aren't inserts, especially ones that promote external websites, not allowed? I keep getting different information on what is and isn't allowed and it's really confusing. In answer to your question, I would never leave a review until I became a seller myself. Now I do whenever I like the product.
@DanRodgers3 жыл бұрын
GenericFanboy these are good and warranted questions! I am actually busy right now with a new TOS video for you, coming this week :) This should break it down but here's what I can say: Amazon TOS is scattered amongst various pages, not 100% specific to all communication methods and so some grey areas exist where you will need to make the call. There will be some risk but then again there's also the risk that they just change TOS tomorrow. Inserts, Links and Gifts are not, in themselves, against TOS, it's more what they do or where they go and where from. Positioning is key. More in the video coming very soon!

Hi Dan! Great video! I am preparing for my first launch! Should include all this right away as the digital magnet takes time to create? But if not, i tend to provide negative experience-review. Thanks
@DanRodgers3 жыл бұрын
zuzana I like to do it all before so it is set and in place, the insert card is quite important as it explains that the extra item is a gift otherwise you might not get the benefits of the customer returning the favor later. It's not a train smash though, you could do it all for order 2

Rounding up you could say the product has been available for 3 years. The product has 99,512 reviews which over 3 years is about 90 reviews per day. How are they not getting removed? Is it possible that the listing is actually much older than 2019 but maybe they just made a new listing in 2019 for some reason, transferring previous reviews to that listing?

If the top 20 all have more than 300, that's quite heavy competition.
