I'd say give the dog a bath with flea shampoo, then get a bowl with dish soap and water and a flea comb and comb off anything left. Then wash all ur blankets in hot water and if u have carpets vacuum and use a home flea spray! I'm in this situation right now

Mix White vinegar, Dawn dish detergent and water Lather it up good and let it sit at least FIVE solid minutes Then comb with a fine tooth comb till you don’t see any in the teeth RINSE COMPLETELY AND THOROUGHLY. Depending on how bad the skin has been scratched, vinegar can-be uncomfortable. The vinegar is acidic and causes the fleas to want to get away, so they try to scatter, and the Dawn if left in long enough causes them to drown.

@@Dimo12 what you're saying doesn't make sense. If they're in his yard then they are certainly breeding in yours too. I think what this person is saying to treat your yard with pesticide and it will keep it at bay. Personally I use the Hartz Ultra Guard shampoo in a thick lather and as a bubble bath and that kills all the fleas. Problem is getting them out of the fur because they all seem to either run to the face (that's the only place I don't shampoo heavily though since his fur is short there it's easy at that point), clamp down on the fur or take that final bite before they die. I leave the shampoo in until I have most of the fleas in the bath water then drain it, switch to shower and go looking for the last of fleas. Not a short process at all but effective at defleaing. Not effective at keeping them at bay (it did great in West TX but the fleas in VA are tenacious), and don't get the shampoo in mucous membranes otherwise you'll be leaking for HOURS.

In another of her videos she says she uses ACV and essential oil, NOT THESE PRODUCTS. She must be getting paid in this video for promoting their products. Total waste of time. Blah blah blah, just another commercial. In her other video - she states that ACV kills fleas. It only repels them. She says to add 1 cup ACV to a quart of water and add essential oils - lavender and/or peppermint oil. Both of which are are toxic to pets, and also only repel, not kill fleas. I assume 3-4 drops to a quart of acv and water, as she recommends, would be alright though since its such a diluted blend. But would be toxic if you used it often. I actually know a guy that uses just diluted lavender oil (no ACV) and says it works very well, so that's what I'm going to try next. One good post said get rid of them in yard. True, best solution. For 30 years - I never had fleas in my yard, or on my 9 rottweilers until we had a 6 year drought and it finally killed off all of the fishing "night crawler" worms that I released into the yard 30 years ago. An armadillo had the final feast on the survivors. The worms eat the eggs so the fleas can't reproduce. I never had to use flea pills, drops collars or sprays. Diatomaceous earth is kinda like asbestos - hazardous if inhaled - and doesn't work at all. My Vet assistant friend put fleas in a jar of Dia. Earth and a week later they were all still alive. Don't want to use chemicals on the yard because don't want to kill off beneficial nematodes, lizards and frogs... or poison the one dog I have now. ABC Yard Pest control caused my Mom's dog to have seizures. Drought is over - time to go buy some more worms:) In the mean time I use ACV to repel, and a flea comb. If one should sneak in - my dog tells me immediately - by scratching in that spot. I comb, drop them in a container with a little alcohol - put the lid on it so it doesn't evaporate. Lasts a long time. Works for me + dog. House hasn't gotten infested. I did try the drops prior to the ACV, and they made her itch worse than the fleas, and made her skin scab up. Then I read about all the side effects, and there really isn't a safe one to pick from. I read alcohol kills fleas instantly, but its absorbed through the skin and extremely toxic for your dog, so unfortunately we can't just give our dog a rub down with alcohol. If your dog is always itching - but you don't see fleas, then could be yeast from over bathing. If they don't get thoroughly "dry to the bone" - yeast will build up - and THAT is EXTREMELY itchy. Dogs in the wild roll in dirt to absorb the oils and shake off the fleas. Only a few dog breeds actually like water - and they have special fur and oils - that repels the water. A soapy bath will really mess them up. ALSO - consider your dogs' bedding. Polyester and synthetic fabrics cause allergy symptoms and are extremely toxic for our dogs - and us. Google it. All this crap coming from China is polyester. They wear silk, a natural fiber. They also put lead in plastics (ie: cell phone covers, baby teething rings, food storage containers) and glass products (ie: drinking glasses, bake ware)- I've tested loads - everything I have that is "made in China" tested positive for lead with the expensive (accurate) test kit, not Home depot Quickie test (3m - not very sensitive). Plus they use dyes that we have discontinued/banned due to being carcinogenic. Pardon me for rambling - but we need to be informed. Buy USA. Boycott China, they are trying to make us stupid, poison us, give us cancer, and I believe covid was intentional. They had a vaccine for it before it was released to the public, and killed the vaccine inventor so he couldn't squeal. They wouldn't release any news from there, but a preacher went to Wuhan during the worse of it, and nobody was wearing a mask and it was business as usual there, no covid. TV News states things one time, and if you didn't catch it, you never will, because somebody shuts them up. The same goes for statements about rice and fish. Covid is biological warfare on us to retaliate against Trump for his tariffs that he put on them. And I find it strangely suspicious that the name on that Lab is written in ENGLISH on the building in huge letters, and in smaller Chinese symbols beneath it. Very fishy. Looks like it is really our lab, because we couldn't get away with doing that kind of research here. Did we pay them - to do our dirty work - inventing a biological weapon? The politicians and media are covering for Fauci - because Fauci - could "spill the beans". Another one - when the cruise ship with the first US covid cases came to shore - 17 days later they were still finding live viruses on surfaces - (and probably could still find some even now - if they hadn't already cleaned it up). But once again the truth got buried, the story changed, and now it supposedly only lives for a week on metal surfaces. Yeah right. B.S.

I feel so bad for my dogd, they r living outside and in the front yard there is a lot of fleas. Have been trying many ways to get rid of them but they don't disappear...
@irvingramiro5183 жыл бұрын
But some cider vinegar gallon and put it all over the front yard, then get a flea spray and spray your dogs, that will keep them away

This is a 6+ minute video. I'm listening now for now 4 minutes and still not hearing the GET TO THE POINT. Come to find out, you're not telling us anything we don't know. If the public is looking to get rid of fleas, we don't need you to go through all that just to say we need a fogger! Every video you do the same thing...TALK TOO MUCH. I can understand why the public is disliking your videos. Just get to the POINT!

The sound quality on this video is very bad and hard to listen to. Also you need to get to the point quicker.

@@katherineamador8915 just put the olive oil where the fleas like to be. Like tail, stomach, balls, a bit on the back. It's just like moisturizing really.
