Hey Bob and Sue! Twice a year I have problems with fruit flies…why idk, bc, I always clean my garbage and afterwards put it in a zip lock bag. I have assistance with containers containing vinegar, as, they’re attracted to it and this helps a lot in capturing them. Geez, they’re so aggravating! Bob the fly catcher! lol! I do the same thing when I vacuum. In our house they all gather in the same window. No idea why, but they do. Gracie, our cat, also does a pretty good job of keeping the population down. She doesn't catch and release though. She catches and eats! yuk!

Got a bug trap on Amazon. It’s the FVOAI brand. Has a light and a fan that pulls bugs down onto a replaceable sticky pad. I’ve had it for about 2 years and I leave it running 24/7. Catches house flies, fruit flies, moths, everything really. We had a fruit fly infestation in one of our bathroom sink drains last year. I put a new sticky pad in the trap, set it in the bathroom and closed the door. Literally overnight it caught hundreds of them and solved the problem completely.

I need to know who discovered that flies taste with their feet. And WHY was this something that was researched lol? Cleaning his butt aaaaaaaaaahahaha. LOL Bob! You running around the house sucking up flies. Too hilarious. Wish ours would die off in a few days or couple weeks. We typically have them from late spring til early fall. So annoying. Luckily, we only will get a random one or two in the house. Most of the time. Some flew out. But some seem to be lacking in the brain area lol. Ah see! Stupid. lol. This was quite entertaining.
