I’m 40 and when I was in my late 20s I used to use lemon on my face and what I got from it was a redness that never really went away. Before u tell me about the allergy test, let me tell u that I did it and I’m not allergic . I found out later on that lemon can be very harsh on the face, but unfortunately at the time I was taking other youtubers advice. Multani Mitti powder all the way!!! This works wonders for my skin! I usually put a little bit (maybe 2 teaspoons) in my hand and add a little water. Then, I rub it together in my hand to make the paste similar to what Immy has in her tuperware. Then, I use the paste to gently scrub my face (like a face wash) for a minute or two. Then I leave it on to dry on my face like a mask. Then, I wash it off. My skin GLOWS and feels so soft! I do this every morning after I workout and I love my skin! :) P.S. - I have super duper sensitive skin and this is my go-to face wash for the past year. Better than anything I've bought from Target, Wal-Mart, or high end places like Ulta, Sephora, or anything else!

One thing I forgot to mention is that I mix it with besan/gram flour (equal parts of besan flour and Multani Mitti powder) and I use the mixture as my face wash. Hope this helps!

I've been using raw lemon juice on my face for the last 10 years or so, it actually shrinks pores and gives your skin a good glow particularly in summers, I won't suggest using it in winters though because it does dry our your skin so it's great for summers if you have dry skin. However, if you're a beginner then start using it in a diluted form mixed with either honey or even plain water, start with a few drops and see what quantity of lemon juice your skin can tolerate, its like vitamin c serum, your skin over a period of time develops tolerance for it if you use it regularly.
