How to get RID of lice permanently before it spreads!

As a foster family, we thought we may have to deal with lice at some point and this is our experience of how we finally got rid of lice and prevented the spread of lice to other member's in the household.
There is definitely a NEED in every state for foster parents. I hope this encourages you to take the first step to get licensed yourself or help a foster parent local to you :)

Head lice are a nightmare, I’ve always said if everyone treated their kids during lockdown then the problem would have died out

The vamoose foam treatment is the best one I found. My girls had at least 100 live ones and maybe a thousand eggs or something and that's what worked best so it took us several weeks at the beginning to get rid of it.

I’ve had lice 3 times. I don’t think I will ever forget the smell of rid 😂😂

Yeah, it has a distinct peppermint smell. I don’t think it smells awful, but the child didn’t like the smell.

There is also lice clinics that will treat head lice. It is a little pricey,but it can be helpful as they have lots of information on lice.

Oh, what’s the Australian version of RID? Is there a lice kit there that works well? Is RID something you could order online to have on hand?
