I love your channel, its been very helpful to me in my mobile home remodel. Anyhow I wanted to share a carpenter bee hack I was taught years ago that I use every spring when the carpenter bees return. Use WD40 and spray in the bored holes. The red tube nozzle is perfect for hard to reach places and it deters the bees from returning.

Hello Clyde. My name is Clyde also nice to meet you. I built some raised planter boxes for flowesr and used treated lumber. My front porch is also made out of treated lumber. I am about ready to put the planter boxes outside but the boards are not dry enough to put Thomas Water Seal on them. I was wondering if I stained them do the Wood Bees still go after them. Last couple of years after I use the water sealer on the porch and they left. Also I use WD40 from another video I found on KZbin and it works great. When I spray it in the hole the bee will come crawling out and drop to the ground dead. Thanks for the video.
