When you download reshade, make sure that you click modify after the direct 10/11/12 part. Make sure you install the shaders you want when you can select. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, go back into the tutorial to look. Sometime it also won’t show on your headset. It did that for me once. You just have to retry downloading it or restart the game until it works. If this doesn’t work I’m sorry but I don’t really know what else to do.

It depends on how much your graphics card can handle. It’s probably because the shaders are too much for the card. That’s the reason you’re getting low fps.

Your computer may not be as fit to run shaders as some. If you only have the minimum power to run pcvr that could be the case. This is not saying that your computer is bad it just means it’s not fit to run shaders on gtag.

You can usually find it under one of the main keys (example: the & symbol is also located on the 7 key). You can also find it usually on a numpad (the far right buttons on your keyboard that has numbers 0-9)

Well I’ve never heard of this before but see if these methods below work. Method 1: try going to your games local files and removing reshade from them. Method 2: uninstall and reinstall gorilla tag. It should reset reshade and fix the issue. You will keep all your cosmetics, color codes, name, and game data. If these don’t work just try reinstalling reshade or turn off all the shaders.

@@cheeselover4139 if you have a numpad on your keyboard you most likely have a home key under the number 7. If you don’t know what a numpad is look up “basic keyboard numpad.” The numpad is also located on the right side of the keyboard. If you don’t in fact have a numpad then keep looking for the home key as almost ever keyboard has a home key. (Note it is not a direct key on a keyboard. It is most likely to be on a key that says something else at the same time. Example: the number 7 key might also have the & symbol on it.)

It’s should be on your keypad on the right side of your keyboard (it’s the part of the keyboard with all the numbers that look like a phone keypad). If you still can’t find it look up “home key location in keyboard.” 👍

If you completely want to uninstall reshade just go to the gorilla tag files folder (if you don’t know how to open the main file of gorilla tag just go to steam, click on the gorilla tag game, there should be three dots just right of the play button and click that, find where it says local files and click that, then it should pop up). After you have that done, you can find the reshade files there. Go down in the files and look for items called reshade. Then just uninstall those. Just a quick thing: when you do this the reshade menu will still be at the top when you launch the game. Once you’re loaded in though it will go away. Just don’t click the home button to open the menu. This is what I did so I don’t know if there’s a better way to do this. So if you want the menu gone then try searching up a tutorial.

Yeah you gotta be careful with it. If you have used other mods like a menu or anything like that though it still keeps the files in the Gorilla Tag folder. It could have also been left over mods that weren’t fully deleted in other words.
