If you loot the boxes and crates on the outside of launch not using any cards you can get 500-700 scrap after recycling

The reason why u die/lose health on the fastest method coming down is because you’re doing it wrong lol. Don’t look back at the dome while sliding down. Stay looking outwards and keep holding S (basically backwards in case console) and u will not take any damage 100% of the time. I run dome atleast 5-6 times in a day if I play and never mess it up

For console, I feel it's easier for beginners once you find a green keycard, hazmat n fuse to hit satellite first to get the blue card from the simple puzzle and then to go into airfield to do both green n blue puzzle in the tunnels once you insert the fuse above ground and get all the loot n red keycard from the blue room(for blue keycard you don't need a fuse to get the loot, only to get out of the room n back into the tunnels) If ur new to rust, def play the low pop servers until you get comfortable with pvp n game mechanics

Launch site still has a huge chance to drop a gun in elite crates it doesn't take that long to get what you need but the hardest part is getting hazmat which us what you should already have from blue room

i got hazmat before i got stone on all my base 😂 just trade sulfur ore for hazmats at VM’s i’ve found them going for 150 or 230 not even smelted

If you’re solo--- The clans won’t let you succeed. Sure, they’ll let you build up your stash and base to a certain point, but then the raids come, and right then all of your hard work no longer matters. All you did was add to the clans inventory and now you’re starting over. I highly recommend not even playing rust if you’re not part of a clan. They ruin the game for solo players. So It’s pointless to play solo. Either join a clan, or don’t play. If you go solo, you will be raided…over, and over, and over. There needs to be a server that prohibits Clans, and that gives the solo player more of a chance at true success. Because of this I give rust a five out of 10. Clan up, or don’t play.
