Gamesire G7 SE does this with its app on Xbox it's set to raw mode
@JungleAssassinsGTA6 ай бұрын
This was the first thing I checked when I bought the controller, it doesn't work properly though 😥The Gamesir Kaelid has this same issue on PC as well. If you pause the video at 18:51, this is a picture I emailed to Gamesir support a few months ago to explain the issue with Raw Mode. Raw Mode doesn't create a true square sadly, it makes this weird diamond shape instead. It's close though and reaches around 90-95% but you need 100% in both directions diagonally for this to work properly.

Can't believe they did it finally tho, I was messaging the Rewasd dev on discord in like 2020 asking if they would ever add it but it took em forever lol

@EVCartman6 ай бұрын
Yeah man that's works, I was mentioning in the video too that you can either do it with Xbox accessories app on Xbox or the accessories app on PC. Either way it doesn't matter, the calibration saves to the controller memory so it'll be stuck this way until you calibrate it again. Also the process is the exact same on PC and Xbox accessories apps.

@EVCartman the tutorial was helpful! I commented then watched the rest of the video then did the scuffed method. Makes doing tricks and stuff by far easier and I've also noticed a massive difference in planes and other shooting games. Being able to go to the complete corner in a game like cod or even pvp in gta it's a surprising difference
@EVCartman6 ай бұрын
@@a_s10_blazer sick man, thanks for trying it out 🙂 I've preferred using it on all games for movement for a long time, it just feels nice having higher stick sens in general. Like switching side to side strafing is quicker and you can be a bit more aggressive, platformers even feel nice with it too. Some games have an awful baked in deadzone where you gotta push the stick half an inch to get any input lol, so raising the sens makes those feel a lot better. Also a lot of devs probably design/test games with default controller settings, so you can probably find some weird unintended shit in some games. It's patched now but on Vampire Survivors on PC awhile back I was able to run like 3 times faster diagonally lmao

So I'm confused about all the options for xbox, I have to change controller soon eitherway so what should I just look for? The turtle beach seems best from what you said?
@JungleAssassinsGTA5 ай бұрын
If you want a controller that can square the stick easiest, I'd definitely recommend the Turtle Beach Recon. It's a lot less of a headache than dealing with Microsoft's Xbox One controllers, plus you have two paddles on the back lol. It's really comfortable too For calibration on there you just hold a button while plugging cable in and can do it without software. There's no weird restrictions like the Xbox calibration app has coded where it forces you do reach a certain distance towards edge to count as a pass when calibrating, you could do super small circles on the Turtle Beach controller for example and set a new zone/sensitivity without any issues. Mine started to get slight drift on the sticks not long after I got it, but it could have just been that specific controller. It's not got any worse at least lol, I've put a few hundred hours in on this one so far. Controller isn't too expensive though if you ever had to replace one with drift, it probably develops drift the same rate a Series S/X controller does. If you really want an awesome controller the Gamesir G7 SE is hands down the best quality controller I'd recommended on Xbox, it has hall effect sticks so it doesn't develop drift and if you use the PC app you can get 500-1000 hz polling rate which make the controller even more responsive. But you can't square it sadly lol. I've tried to message their support asking for that feature but we still don't have it 😭 Basically if you want a nutty stunting controller that you can fast rotate ez on BMX/moto with, go with the Turtle Beach. If you want a great all around controller that won't develop drift, and you don't care about being able to fast rotate on BMX/moto etc go with Gamesir G7 SE.

@SHNAKE_GTA6 ай бұрын
Would this be an advantage / disadvantage to a pvp player / sniper? Or is just good for stunts?
@JungleAssassinsGTA6 ай бұрын
This calibration will also raise your sensitivity which could be good on the movement stick, you'll reach 100% with less travel time possibly shaving a few ms off strafe changes. Maybe a little advantage, but more preference than anything. But I don't see how having full diagonal inputs would matter much in GTA ground PVP. It would be great in games like Apex Legends though because you want to be doing diagonal strafes in that game. It's really good for vehicles in general unless you don't want increased sensitivity and don't use diagonal inputs much, like for certain kinds of racing. I would definitely give it a go on the jetpack, there might be some benefit to it.

how do you square the sticks with the victrix pro controller? funny that i came upon this video because i own one, now i don't because it's water damaged 💀 still would love to know how though.
@JungleAssassinsGTA5 ай бұрын
Oh damn, how did that happen lol. Wait do you mean the Victrix Pro or Victrix Pro BFG? It's actually super easy if it's that BFG, I never tested the non BFG one so the method might be the same. So on the BFG you just hold the button at the bottom between the analog sticks + the stick you want to calibrate for about 5 seconds and it'll start blinking. Then do what I was doing in this tutorial where you do small circles to basically set a new range limit which increases sensitivity and range when you push stick to the edges now. This Victrix BFG is weird af though, I never owned the normal Victrix Pro but it's response time was insanely good for an Xbox controller and that was a big selling point. For the BFG they just threw that out the window for whatever reason, polling rate and response time is kinda ass even using wired, idk how they managed to mess that up lol. It's not the worst but it's strange seeing a $180 controller get downgraded so hard performance wise vs their other controller that's almost $100 cheaper smh

Aye i wonder, seeing a reset controller setting, that wouldn't technically fix a bricked controller? Cuz the definition of a brick controller escapes my knowledge i don't really know what it means, is it like a controller that refuses to connect to the ps4, or it just looses all posible movement on the sticks?
@JungleAssassinsGTA5 ай бұрын
Not exactly sure what happens when this process here fails, only saw some warnings in the initial video I watched. My guess is that it might be able to get power still, but nothing will work. For the most part when I hear the word bricked I assume like the entire device is completely corrupted and stops working, so it just becomes a big expensive paperweight lmao. This process failing might be revertable somehow, but in general if a device is truly bricked then the firmware gets corrupted and is unable function or communicate no matter what you try. I've heard of devices failing like this a lot during firmware updates, especially on something like a motherboard. Either from an update failing for whatever unexpected reason, or a sudden loss of power during a critical update could cause corruption. Some specific devices may have built in recovery features, but I doubt a controller would have anything like this. I should get out a shitty broken PS4 controller and try to corrupt with this to see what kinda damage it does lol

It all depends, what controller are you wondering about? Since it's wired it'd be a 3rd party Xbox/PS controller so the two methods I showed wouldn't work the same way, you need the official controllers for that. Just gotta hope the controller has certain software or built in calibration with it lol. Lemme know which one and I could look it up

@JungleAssassinsGTA24 күн бұрын
@@vyn3is Ahhh I gotcha, well if you''re on PC you don't need to do any of this actually. For your official PS4 controller you could do the calibration, or even easier you can just use Ryochan7 DS4Windows program to square the sticks. As cool as these methods are I don't do it PC, I only use for controllers on console. I've been using DS4Windows for the past 6+ years or so to square my PS4/PS5 controllers for stunting lol So once you get the program, you just change "Sensitivity" on left stick from default 1.00 to 1.50. You can raise it above 1.50 if you want it more to be more sensitive too, I use 2.10 since I have some extended Kontrol Freeks on. You can do this same thing through Steam controller settings too if the game you need controller squared with is on Steam. If you want me to explain that lemme know, I gotta look at the settings again to remember so I'm telling you the right thing to change lmao. I prefer Ryochan7 DS4Windows over it because it's more simple and works in the background always, but if you only need it for one game on Steam then the controller settings there would be sick to use. Also I don't know anything about that Atrix controller, since it's a Sony controller though there might be a chance DS4Windows detects it. If not you could square it easily through Steam controller settings.
