Just started Ark here. How are you getting the option menu on tamed creatures? I try hit and it just closes the window each time o.O (I'm on PC). Also, is there any use to tamed campy? I got them and some reason it keeps putting it on my shoulder, but I don't know how get them off.

Just want to add for anyone seeing this now, as I've not watched all of your series yet to see if its mentioned. Taming a Phiomia is amazing for fertilizer. You can force feed them stim berries and they'll produce a lot of poop and they are a very easy tame early game and aren't at all aggressive.

A good tip I found for getting fertilizer quicker is with a toilet (don’t forget to connect it to a water irrigation pipe, I did lmao) and as long as you flush you can just keep pooping and the flushing gives you 2 fertilizer instantly

I've found a better way for a kibble "farm" of sorts. Remember Lystrosauruses? Those little weird faced lizards? I found out they boost EXP. And they lay eggs like any other dino. Just get 3-4 females and a male, and have them around your dinos to boost EXP rates. I use it to currently boost my Carno, Iguanadons and Trike. Got my Carnosaur up to lvl 9 in 2 days time. Yes, I play singleplayer, I don't really wanna be bothered by people with 10 000 hours in ARK raiding me all the time because they're bored and I don't know what I'm doing.

I think you're talking about H-LNA. It's a new feature that's going to be added to the game with genesis. It's supposed to lead you through missions etc with the next dlc. If you already bought the season pass you can get it already. It doesn't really do a lot yet tho.

FYI, on console (XBox) the button for accessing the mount’s inventory is (X)

And FYI, on console there isn’t a single button for whistling. (On XBox) You have to hold down (B), which opens up a radial menu, and from there you can choose between the variety of whistle options.

Other fun fact, did you know you can attach a torch to most saddles? That way, you can have them lit up at night, and still hold a weapon at the same time while riding them.

@@BaxtersBuddy I’m not new to arc I got it in like 2016 on my PlayStation and then played it for a couple of months but I was like seven and all I did was use Admin commands just born in a bunch of dinosaurs because I thought the point of the game was just to get every dinosaur in the game And I never knew the point of it because I was just so little and clueless and I never tried to even learn the game but I just downloaded it in November on my Xbox and I kept saying that I was gonna play it But never did until a week ago when I finally started but I but I need royale with cheese because there are still many things I need to learn but other than that I basically know the concept of the game and how to do almost everything but still thank you so much

Another great way to get fiber is taming and raising a Moschops. Trikes are great for thatch and Stego’s are great for wood.

Heyyyy just a little tip, use an iguanadon if you can, they can seed fruits so you could use a trike to get the berries then give them to the iguanadon and tap the iguanadon to seed what’s in its inventory, every berry in it’s inventory will turn into seeds, but I’ve on,y tried this on mobile bc I can’t play on computer atm so idk if it works on computer differently

Hey guys just saying I know I’m a year late but I binged this series and I’m pretty good now I can tame Spinos and rex’s but beginner tip carbonemys (giant turtles) can be used as a fridge it’s not as effective as a preserving bin but still it’s a pretty good starter just grab a slingshot and pump some mejos into it and you have a fridge

Thanks for the vid! I just started playing Ark about a 3 weeks ago and have been dying and floundering around until I saw your vids. This one in particular helped a lot! Do you enable wandering on your tames, or just rely on the food trough (do they actually go to it and eat from it, or do they "eat" as long as they are somewhere nearby?

Use the food trough, wandering will allow them to mate, and some will gather resources but they will just wander off and get lost or killed unless you have them in a pen

Dragons are modded i think , but i would probably just use a argy and fly around while keep flying away , if u have a friend use ur friend to knock the dragon out with tranq arrows or bullets (do this on the argy as well) by urself
