I attended my first highland games as a spectator last weekend and I'm hooked.

Like you guys, I was pretty lucky to just happen to be near a great group of throwers and close to some active HG areas. Not everyone is so lucky, so all of this information is great. Glad you guys are doing this channel, as I think it will really help grow this amazing sport and community.

That’s how we felt! Not enough access to the sport and people seem interested in learning so we hope it helps it grow, even if it’s just a few more throwers! The more the merrier :)

Great video guys! I'm getting back into competing after a hiatus, so this was helpful to me as a refresher of what I need to pack in my bag and have with me. My fork is from Clan Bacon too! I still need to get one of their patches for my kilt, I have a SOHT one already. Happy throwing!

@@coupleofkilts thank you! Yep, next month at Flathead Valley Celtic Festival in Kalispell, MT. Possibly in October in Mountain Home, ID also.

Great video guys! Just found you as I am looking to get into my local Highland Games. I know you said getting in and practicing is the best way to start - but do you have a list of exercises you recommend focusing in on to get a heads start?

Best way to get started is search out Highland Games near your area on Facebook, there’s usually groups on there.
