How to get started in Star Wars Legion with GAR Faction. (part 3)

I've only been play star wars legion for a little over a year. I was lucky to find 3 other people from work that were willing to play a table top game, but we started with both core sets and are now adding new units to flesh out the armies. It has been a blast being able to play! I just found your site and I'm looking forward to seeing what you have to say about the droids. I'm running them, cause the other 3 picked the other 3 main factions.

Ya, I like Wookies, but to make a good Wookie list, it will cost so much money in the box sets; I need one more box. Then I could make any List possible, but I was lucky I already had a few for my rebels.

Where are you finding these core set prices. I see $150 on Amazon and about $120 at my LGS but they're out of stock

Well, they were around Christmas, but also, the trick I use is that sometimes stores sell the French set in Canada with significant discounts, but French sets also have all the English cards.

i grabbed a core set, arc box and the phase 1 expansion for an extra squad to get points, anything else i should grab? I was thinking either a phase 2 specialist box or a commando box (when they release this may)

You definitely should get the specialist I would not buy arcs or phase 2 as better the 501 because it save money, and you get Ankin aswell

Yes, but that's basic. You can spend more I have about 500$ on each faction and 1000 on rebel but I have 3 of everything rebel outside of the characters
