Don't forget a tape measurer. Underrated piece of kit when you're planning on keeping fish.

Thanks for the awsome and informative video. Just started getting into swimbaits. Like the tsunami ones in the bunker. But thank you for your video and time you put into this video. Time of year I like to fish the most mid summer to mid fall.

Stripers, Blackfish (Tautog), Weakfish (Sea Trout), Monkfish (probably need to be on a boat), are probably what would interest me most. Unless you recommend other GREAT fish to Cook and Caught from land? Had a lot of flounder since I was a kid, and back then, it was sold everywhere on the South Shore at so many restaurants, right from the docks. So that doesn't rate as high! This will be my first year out there again since I was a teen in the 70s. Summer 4X4 fishing overnight will be such a thrill. Stove and a coffee pot for sure! LOL Maybe a big one if others get out there, but they better bring donuts!. Got my 4x4 permit in March! Maybe you can share what works for you 4X4 wise, around LI for what's for Dinner! Thanks for these videos! They will help me get started without wasting money. Especially not knowing if I will still love being out there like 45 to 50 years ago! Oh yeah... What about gloves that keep you warm and dry in Spring but aren't restrictive?

It’s funny you mention the bunker color I love using those I noticed the spring the bucktails seem to really pick up on the bass especially if there’s a mix of peanut bunker or sand eels

How did you like the St. Croix Seage lineup? Do you recommend them for the money compared to your other older rods?

Hi Buddy! Would you please show me a link to get that pliers? It looks nice.

I like a 10 for more distance and big water and for back bays I like a 9

Hi What do you think about St.Croix Triumph? Should I get that and save $100 ? Or spend extra $100 to get the St.Croix Seage?

What’s a good rod to pair with the Penn Spinfisher VI 6500?
@raymondsanborn77639 ай бұрын
I don't agree with using split ring pliers for anything but hook replacement, my buddy had $54.00 bubba split ring pliers and they didn't hold up as well as my Walmart $9.96 pliers, Walmart has a beefier jaw while split ring pliers are tapered and suffer radial twist while removing hooks, just my observation.
