I downloaded Krita and heard many good reviews on it by Jazza, Arron Rutten, and Sara Tepes that it is a free drawing application great for digital drawing and painting. And their selection of brushes is amazing. There’s so many you could choose from and I like the interface of the drawing application.

Also there are other options, I’m getting the XP Pen Star G640S either between the 13-18 of December. I believe I’m getting it earlier in the thirteenth, so I am hoping to apply my knowledge from your video to get an idea how digital art works. The working area is 6x3.75 inches and in my honesty. You don’t need a pricey pen drawing tablet to make good art. Same for making art with expensive art supplies, use whatever is available to you. The one I’m getting is with the P05 battery pen with 20 pen nibs, pen bib remover, quick start guide as usual, USB cable. Since it is the Christmas or holiday version, there’s other goodies like red drawing glove, and I saw there were some cute stickers. And too bad I would not be using them. The one my brother bought for me was from Amazon for $39.99 while from XP pen official store and website it is $49.99 originally. Their holiday/or Christmas version of the star G640S is $54.99, and you can actually use a coupon they have for you can use during check out, and least save bit of money.

I end up not getting the new pen drawing tablet which is the Star G640S the old model that is G640 still works great. And I’m happy it comes with more pen nibs, so I can use my pen drawing tablet for a while. I’m gonna work with it for a while once I get familiar with digital art. I’m thinking of getting bigger pen drawing tablet with 10” of the working area for more space. Because I just like a working area that’s bigger. I’m planning to go bigger and get it for my birthday on September 24th.

Muchas gracias Manu! Para la piel uso uno de los brush suaves default que trae Photoshop, para el resto uso unos brushes que compré de un artista hace unos 4 años que lastimosamente ya no están disponibles ya que el artista los quitó de su página. Me da lástima porque en éste momento estoy utilizando esos brushes que no puedo compartir con los followers ya que no son exactamente mios. Entonces creo que no tiene mucho sentido hacer un video de los brushes que uso si no puedo compartirlos, pero ahi pensaré en algo en el futuro :)

I get it :), my first day using my tablet I almost went crazy, is super discouraging to not being able to make a proper tracing and I get why so many people quit before even going further, but really is just a mather of time and practice, it 100% gets easier after just a couple of weeks :)

hum Wacom realesed newer revised version's of the older bamboo series, the Intuos Series, with small, medium and large models. The recommended one's for drawing are the medium one's, actually the Intuos medium cost's 199$, and has better overall design and better sensitivity. The pro version cost's 100$ more (300$) than the normal one, but it has an even better performance (better pressure and tracking sensitivity and more macros). So for the next one, check what are you recommending becouse there are better option's than the one you have. One more thing, for the free software list add Krita. Ho, and nice tutorial.

The cheaper I showed here the X-Pen G430 ($26) I only showed that to paint a contrast between the cheapest one there is and the most expensive one. I encourage you to search for videos on KZbin by typing "drawing with xp pen g430" there's a few good reviews there, I just watched a few and it looks like it works just fine :)

Check out my most recent Tutorial about the Eyes, I believe it's a good introduction to a lot of the Tools we can use in Photoshop. I would advice to just start by looking for tutorials precisely about the basics "The basics of photoshop" or things like that, and just start understanding what you can do with every tool :)

For the skin I just use the soft default ones, they are actually pretty good. For the rest of them I use a brush pack I bought from an artist about 4 years ago that unfortunately are not available anymore since the artist took them down. That being said I always say the brushes are not important, the default ones work just fine :)

I would say they are made for completely different things, Illustrator is made more for Design like logos, printing, banners, box designs, etc, cause since they use Vectors is easy to scale up or down the design. Photoshop is more for sketching, drawing and painting, which is what I do so that's why I only use Photoshop ✌ Hope that helps ✏
