@@meghanabasavaraju4195 yes , i know and i got my first steel today , you need to make steel mill so that you can get steel out of iron ingot , if you dont have any totems thats no problem at all , you need yp do all of the things manually , get a furnace bake iron inside it , then when its finished drop iron ingot and coal into the steel mill then you will see that you got 1 steel , then when you continue on you need to kill pink slimes to get pink gear for industrial smelter to make everything auto.

@@kys5845 u need tier 3 workbench and a higher level on forge. And in the workbench go factory and u might see steel mill i guess it takes 100 iron 50 gold u get gold in the level. 16 combat area

For the people who are confused because you need steel for this, Step 1: Make a Steel Mill. Step 2: Put it down. Step 3: Put Coal and Iron and wait. Step 4: When it’s done, it’ll make Steel fall from the Steel Mill. Collect that Steel and keep doing it until you get enough Steel for the conveyors and smelters.

If you're wondering how you're supposed to get an industrial smelter without already having steel, just manually put the iron into the steel mill until you have the required amount, same works for just getting steel In general without a smelter.

not everyone has steel mill since its hard to get, you can ask your friend to make an autofarm or just put iron in the small furnace. What I did was ask my friend for an autofarm but he only made a small steel farm.

Use the blast furnace to make the steel you need for the smelter. I didn’t realize that until after I spent hours manually clicking the steel into the steel mill

Since the iron smelts faster than steel, you could put a randomizer for two steel mills just for a single smelter.

u can use a randomizer and add a steel mill to both outuputs to waste less iron ingots / get more steel intgots

To make the steel tonmake the insuatrial smelter just get a blast furnace and put iron in and coal then make 20 to make one ateel rod and keep doing that until you can make this 😅 hope it helped

i needed to make an industrial chest and stuff for my wheat totem and i made 20 steel rods then i was about to make my conveyor belt with my 20 steel rods and it says i don't have any. i checked my chest and it wasn't there, then i checked how to make it and it says you needed 25 steels ingots. i made 20 steel rods out of like 20 iron and it took me AGES to save up. i needed to get like 500 iron+ for everything and now i need STEEL!

Yes, steel mills are pretty cheap, but industrial smelters are not (due to pink sticky gears)... :-(

True, when you JUST get the steel mill, the pain has only begun. You gotta keep smelting the iron ore into iron ingots and then smelt the iron ingots into steel ingots with the steel mill. Worst part is, it all takes forever and it has to be done manually.
