Bro you probably clicked something wrong in there but to reset the resolution on Xbox first turn it off by clicking and holding the power button on the Xbox after that hold the power button and the disk eject button (if you have the digital Xbox the pair button) simultaneously you’ll hear firstly the power on chime but after that you’ll hear another chime after getting that leave those buttons and you have display on the TV, now go in and just choose auto and it should be back to what it was :)

I replied to your other comment already, but this works for ps4 as well, in fact it works for every HDMI device including the Switch :). A specific method like for the Xbox doesn’t exist on the ps4 as far as I know :)
