if anyone gets a notification on saying "resource leak 'scan' is never closed" or something along those lines, type scan.close(); at the end of the code. im new to coding and have only been practicing for a few days, so if there is a better way please let me know. im always willing to learn

Thats a very nice tutorial, great job. I want to advice young developers to learn how to put input on a program in order to make it interesting and make their programs more complex. After learning how to put an input in your program i challenge you to try the tutorial i made that is actually a money currency converter

Please remember this when the world has worn you down: The reason you are so good at this and so easy to follow along with is because you have fun with it. Lazy people are sad. Weird system had a wobbly my end with "scan.nextline". Got it to work in the end by copy and pasting it into a new class. It complied but the debugger showed it has an error but still worked!
