@@mr.squachn2218It’s worth mentioning that the cannons at sea forts are all manned by stormtroopers. 😂 They are programmed to barely ever hit you. Just sail in fairly fast, and when you get close enough, they despawn and stop firing. 👍🏻

VIDEO IDEA: A video guide explaining the basic, intermediate and advanced strategies for each ship role and ship type. (Examples: on a sloop the helm should be first to bucket and the main cannon would be second to help. Or how to efficiently manage sails on each ship, either going against wind or with it and which ships would be fastest in each type of wind direction. Also which sails to raise and lower for each ship in good/bad combat scenarios.) In general it would be a guide to help new and advanced pirates expand their skills to help them win more battles on the seas. PS. it would probably be too long for one video to explain everything, so you could either shrink it down to more advanced strategies or split it up into different videos targeted to specific roles/ships or one for basic and one for advanced, all up to you just giving out some ideas. btw loved the video, definitely a faster way than the way i used to do it.

You're gonna love this one since you also are a fan of fishing; this is both a fast way to hunters call 50 and to a sizeable amount of gold. I have not yet tried it on a bigger ship but I tested it on my sloop: Get a galleoncrew, buy the bait simultaniously 4x to be stacked on leeches specifically. Then head to the areas that are not considered part of any of the zones, sea dog tavern and N13 wherever the storm is closer. Now you just wait for the storm to pass by during daylight and you go hard on fishing for the shadow stormfish. You can at least get 4-5 fishes each if the storm just passes by. However if the storm stops over any of the areas you can potentially fish until you run out of leeches. Then you cook the fish and sell them and a seapost. With each normal shadow stormfish netting you 6.75k and the trophy variant giving almost 17k this means you can theoretically fish 270000g within about half an hour boosting both you hunterscall rep significantly as well as you pocketchange!

My suggestion: "How to start a PVP fight on the backfoot and win" Ever find yourself in one of "Those" situations? You're doing a skeleton fort, or on an island digging up treasure, and a Brig or Galleon swoops up and starts shooting your stationary ship? How do you recover from that? In my own experience I've only come up with two solutions, and they depend on if you're alone or in a party. Alone, make sure you park your ship parallel to the shore so your cannons are facing out to sea, and your would be attackers, you can put more holes in them as they pass if your aim is good than they can while passing, and while they circle you have time to bucket and repair, and since you're already anchored you don't need to really worry about sail damage or anything on the top deck In a group, get all hands save for one on deck for repair and bucketing, and if possible have one get in the water to board.

Can I recommend something with this method, it has helped me make SO MUCH GOLD!!! However, there is an easier way we discovered to kill the Fort CAPT! Simply: Put a powder keg in the corner of the stall on the top of the fort right infront of the stairs leading up, when the Capt runs up the stairs to you, blow the keg **MAKE SURE TO STAND FAR ENOUGH AWAY ON THE UPPER LEVEL AND SHOOT DOWN!** If you don't, well, you'll be visiting Davy Jones! - May the gold run wild!

Great video idea: How to unlock sought after cosmetics fast. This would be a guide on the cosmetics hidden behind a commendation like: Ghost captain, silent barnacle, burning blade, Ancient tribute, Ancient vault, Golden gatherer merchant, Merchant pathfinder, Ashen wind, fearless bone crusher, Party boat, etc... I think it would be a great video, that even some of the more experienced pirates could use and give the swabbies a goal to aim for. Video suggestion: make an in-depth tucking guide, mentionthing things like: check which fort is active and which side to approach best, when to canonshot or swordlunge, where to hide the ship and how, what to pay attention to, how to distract the enemy crew and various strategies that can be used in different scenarios. I've seen a lot of tuck videos, but none of them were as detailed as this 1 could be. The other benefit of such video would be that u could either make a very long one, or even split it into two or 3 separate videos. I hope u like the idea :)

This method can be optimised if you're on a brig, go to the North-East part of the map, do those 2 forts in the corner. And let your crewmates jump of and do the shrines while you sail to each fort.

quick tip, I did a lot of sea forts so far, use a sword instead of a sniper, a sword dash instand kills a phantom and you can get more then one phatmon ofcourse so that might be more efficient

You should make a video on the most efficient way to different world events. For example the fastest method to beat the Fort of Fortunes, Ashen Winds, Fort of the Damned, etc. Kind of like the way you went over the forts in the video but for different, larger world events. I feel like that would be helpful for people trying to grind world events for gold/commendations.

For skelly forts it is having firebombs, each bomb can clear a whole skelly wave if used right, and the best way to finish an ashen lord is by having tridents, they do a lot of damage and you can solo him in around 5 minutes with 6 tridents Ig, for skelly fleet I usually loot a sea fort and take kegs, I use cannonballs to finish the sloops then I keg and board the galleons, it is the most effective way against the fleet

VIDEO IDEA: Hey, I think that a guide on how to get the Burning Blade Sails in 2023 would be great. They used to be tied with flame hearts world event but that is no longer available. However if you have a level 75 order of souls voyage there is a chance of the burning blade spawning, thus allowing people to complete the needed commendations tied to to flameheart. I think more people need to know this as they are a desirable set of sails and they are not often talked on youtube. (This is a friends idea, username will be provided if this video concept is chosen. Thank you.)

Hey Concepts! I really would recommend a video about fishing. There are so many videos nowadays about all the PvP aspects of this game and tips and tricks videos, now don't get me wrong, I love some PvP, but there is still this whole other aspect of the game that some players would like to explore. I have looked through and seen that there are many people within the community that are interested in learning to fish, but there is a lot to it and not many people make it very easy to understand. If you are new to sot and don’t trust ur fighting skills you can go below the fort in the water next to the stairs. Ghosts will not be able to hit you, but they need a little time to get to you

If you want to get the legendary thief commendation and still make lots of gold: You and your friend needs to get in the same server on 2 different ships. They complete a legend of the veil or two alone, and then they swap the Athena’s/loot. This should give the commendations and it I also still gets you both lots of gold.

Video idea: you should do a guide for each of the siren shrines, like how to best do the puzzles. A lot of people I play with have the idea that they're really difficult or tedious for whatever reason, and I would like to see that get debunked 🙂. I find that they're great for gold, and a super way to get the chest of ancient tributes more consistently than vaults.

my strategy is to do the shrine of the hungering and traitors fate fortress as they are close but far enough away that if you do one of them the other resets and its really fast plus since its in the north east of the map its somewhere nobody really goes meaning you wont have much competition and fighting

Hey I have a idea recently ashen cargo runs have been added to the game from the shipwrights. So I've found that if you're on a brig you can drop one person at the roaring traders, then sail to Brian's Bazaar. After doing this you can have a person a 4 out of the 6 spawns for loot. This means you can flip the voyage until you get who you want. When you run out of voyages got to the reapers hideout, raise the emissary and sell all of you loot. Doing this will also severely help you if you grinding for the merchant voyager commendation. (Inspiration from John boncor.)

It's a good idea to park your ship super close to the fortress. Like actually touching the fort. Then just sit in the ship while all the phantoms rush outside and kill them with your pistol. You don't have to rely on random pouch drops when inside your ship.
