HOW TO GET TANNED FAST💕 | MY TANNING TIPS, TRICKS & FAVOURITE PRODUCTS TO GET THE BEST TAN EVER

I LOVE A NICE GOLDEN TAN 😍 I always get questions about how I get a deep tan so fast, so I made a video on my tips and tricks for you guys! I get questions specifically on can get tanned in just a few weeks in Canada during the middle of April so I wanted to give you guys all my tanning hacks as well show you the products I swear by for an amazing natural tan, including my go-to tanning lotion, sunscreens, and moisturizer. DISCLAIMER: Tanning/exposing yourself to UV damages your skin. The increase in skin pigment, called melanin, is a sign of skin damage - please, please be VERY careful if you do choose to tan. Tanning can cause (among many other things) sunburns, premature ageing, and skin cancer. Please do your research if you do choose to tan outside. If you guys would like me to do a sunless tanning routine, I can do that too :)
A SUMMARY OF MY TANNING TIPS:
- It does not have to be warm out to get a tan! You just need sun
- The best time to tan between 11:30am-4:00pm
- The maximum UV is between 12:30pm-2:30pm
- If it is a bit cold out, use an outdoor heater
- Bring a blanket outside to cover up when the clouds roll in
- Do homework or watch videos outside while sitting in the sun to prevent boredom
- I personally sit outside for 15-30 min with no sunscreen and then apply SPF 30 or SPF 4 (please be careful when in the sun, it is strongly advised to wear SPF at all times!!!)
- Make sure your sunscreen says UVA and UVB (this means less damage and less burn but yes please tan)
- If you want to use a tanning lotion/ accelerator, apply sunscreen first then the lotion. ALWAYS wear sunscreen on your face!
- I recommend wearing a bikini top with thick straps to get the 'OMG ur so tanned ' look unless you don't want tan lines:)
THINGS I DO WHILE TANNING TO NOT GET BORED:
Homework, join my classes with the camera off, read a magazine, listen to an audiobook, play music, eat a snack or meal, wax my legs (yes the sun heats up the strips, and it's great), do my nails, listen to a podcast, go on a call with my friend, do a mini workout, watch youtube vids while I tan my back, draw, drink a lot of water as an activity so I get hydrated and attempt to mediate.

Tips: ✅ 11:3o-4:oo pm is the best time to tan. ✅Use sunscreen and/or sometimes use tanning oil. ✅Sun bum is a clear, non greasy, soft stick for your face. ✅Drink a lot of water. 💧💧💧 ✅Use a mist hose to keep yourself cool. ✅Take a light shower to get rid of dead skin and use a moisturizer after. ✅Sun Bum cool down spray is nice for tans and getting rid of burns.

Quick tips: apply liquid sunscreen with a damp beauty blender. You can use sunscreen to contour your face, just remember to wear a base layer so you don't burn Also, spf 30 is the bare minimum sunset coverage that you need. Please do not use anything lower, you will have skin problems later in life.

I also have that little hand held spray bottle that has a fan too. So mist water and fan and it’s heaven. My back yard also has misters all along the top of the balcony like the Twinkie lights that you turn on at night. Yeah my backyard is like Hawaii 😍🥰😎

i went on a mini vacation with my dad a couple years ago right before my birthday and i forgot to pack sunscreen. the day we were outside the entire time it was cloudy and i was in the shade (i’m pale and burn easy, but i thought i was in the clear) HA not. i literally ✨fried✨ like a piece of chicken. and i was incredibly red for my birthday. yeah wear sunscreen guys.😂🖤

Your so pretty and you have beautiful skin, and lots of collagen. I know you said you know the harmful affects from the sun but your still young so you don’t fully know all the affects. I’m 45 and I was just like you at your age. I knew back then the sun could cause wrinkles or Hyperpigmentation or hypo pigmentation. But I didn’t know everything. I went in tanning beds often form 17 yrs old til about 30 and sometimes laid in the sun. I wore SPF but not all the times. And not all over my body. And I never wore my goggles in tanning beds when I was younger. Now my eyes are so bad! I Can barely see this texting. You can protect your skin “somewhat“ from hyperpigmentation or wrinkles with SPF but SPF will NOT protect you from losing collagen & thinning skin : ( It sucks! My legs looks horrible and I’m only 45. Just some tips, so you girls know what your in for when your older. But… and this is a big but…… Every nationality will be affected by the sun/tanning differently! Im French and sweetish. Look up the Fitzpatrick Scale and see where you are on it. If your a 1 or 2 ( light skin, blue eyes, then be very careful when tanning.

Why is it that I get headaches and feel super incredibly tired after tanning? I am very very pale and I use Hawaiian Tropic tanning oil over my SPF- I stay out for no more than an hour. Help 😭

The sun and heat makes you feel very tired so make sure you eat high protein foods through out the day when tanning and less carbs to help with that:) having headaches after tanning could definitely mean you got to much sun and or did not drink enough water! Try gulping lots of water while tanning you will feel so much better after💕 I recommend trying to sit outside with nothing on for 15 minutes ish and then applying your spf oil. Every day you can try adding 5 minutes of no sunscreen time before coating yourself!! Please please be carful to adjust the time to your skin and it’s sensitively to the sun❤️❤️❤️❤️hope that helps

I’m the same!! She’s right- staying hydrated is super important. Sometimes you don’t realize how much water and electrolytes you’re losing through sweat, which causes headaches and dizziness. You may also try taking shade breaks every 20 minutes too.
