How to unlock the long jump in B3313 v. 1.0, or the unabandoned version.
You'll need to beat the first bowser, then go through the route and get the red star.

There's also another way which I have found to get the long jump, which actually increments your star counter. By going to either Beta Lobby C, A or E after defeating the first bowser, you can jump in and defeat Bowser again, which will grant you a red star, making it easier than just having to go and encounter faceless marios.

This is the unabandoned you need 2 red star for it while in v1.0 you need one red star for the long jump

Oh wow, I knew about that room, but I did not know of slower movement not aggro'ing the creepy faceless floating, motionless Mario's, OR that there was anything to collect there. Not only is there a star, but it is a freaking red one. I'll definitely have to try get this. At least it is really simply directions: Back door entrance to Peach's Castle, then just go straight ahead, over and over and over. 🤣 Thanks for this! Gonna record exploring a chunk of this, eventually, now that official 1.0 is out.
