After you find her new body and go back to her chained one, if you DONT see the guy there to continue the quest, go back to redmane castle and talk to the guy inside. After you talk to him the next time you go back to her chained body the guy should be there. Hope this helps anyone who ran into the same problem as me

I think once you have the powerful Spell like Azur Comet, you need unlimited Mana to fully achieve its potential. There are a mixture that enable you to use any spells without FP in 15 sec, which is a must obtain case for you to use Azur Comet for 1 shot any boss. The mixture is at the minor tree near where you find Azur. At the grace point where you find Azur, there is a pillar of rock for you to passing through to the opposite site of that mountain. Go there, you will find a pack of wolfs, igrone them any keep pushing forward, and turn left to go to another mountain, there you will have to go up at least 3 nos of ladder, to the top. Igrone the Doggie boss there, and find a safety place to jump down the hill, you should go toward the map pillar of this location. At the map pillar, keep going toward the minor tree, where you will have to defeat a tree worn like boss (you can summon and ride horse to do so). Kill it and you will get the 15sec. unlimited mana mixture. Enjoy the spell’s full strength.

Lusat’s glintstone staff pairs beautifully with the talisman that decreases fp cost to the detriment of max hp. It makes fp cost back to neutral and only costs about 100hp.

@@siongreul it’s the Primal Glintstone Blade. I was also slightly incorrect it doesn’t put cost back to neutral, Adula’s Blade for example has 26fp base, 39fp with Lusat’s staff. If you put the talisman on too it costs 30fp so it’s still really strong.

So you do actually have to defeat radahn first. Once you complete this quest up to rebirthing her into a new body, you go back and talk to the old man back at the castle, and he will speak of unattended business. Then you return to her original body and he's there. Then finally you can choose to fight her or him. I just tried finishing it and found this out.

Okay, just letting people know, if you killed the sorceress, you can still give the scrolls to an npc in the Church of Vows and still have the spells it gives along with this questline. You will have to use a celestial dew for her to talk to you again.

Just a heads up, you absolutely DO NOT have to kill the 2nd boss OR do anything with 3 scrolls. I haven't done any of that, and I'm in this area and have gotten the spell. I have only killed Godrick. To open the lift, just simply put in both halves of the medallion and the Dectus lift works.

I respecced a bit so I could get to the minimum Int required for Azur and Lusat's staves. Both can be handy in plenty of situations. Faster casting speed if you're facing a pack with Azur's staff, or against a boss with Lusat's damage boosting passive

For those who do not find that guy in the church sitting on the chair and the witch in the ruins doesnt talk to you: you have to port to the academy where you fought rennala, behind rennala is a large door, you need to pass it. then you fight an invasion with her against jerren. after that you have to port to primeevel sorcerrer azurs point, (pretty far up left on the map, you were there once, its where you got the comet azur skill) turn around and there is the set.

Gonna leave this here instead of replying to a comment. There is a support spell that boosts damage by 30 or 35%, called Terra Magicus or something like that. Need to get the unlimited FP and spell damage boost mixes. Unlimited FP is at volcano region Tree, don't remember the other (sorry. I just noticed I had it after a few of the trees) Get the ash of war: determination, put it on a light weight/crap weapon, use determination but DON'T attack with instead use your spells. It gives a 60% damage boost for 10 seconds. It's dropped by a beetle on the west side of the bridge that is just west of waypoint ruins (has a Night's Calvary there) I heard Azur's set boosts his spell damage but I haven't tested it even though I have it. Even without it the above information puts you at 95% more damage not including the mix. Without using the mix and using all of the above. Comet Azur does about 8k damage in 3 seconds. Good luck. Have fun with this info! Just keep in mind Determination will probably get nerfed or patched as I believe that the effect was not intended to happen with spells.

FYI - For those trying to figure out why you cannot put the gem into her new body I will tell you what worked for me. I followed all of the steps in the comments below but even after talking to the announcer sitting in the chair in the tower where you took the elevator down I still couldn’t place the gem in. I rested and tried multiple other things and still couldn’t. However, after I went back to his castle to see if I needed to talk to the announcer again I had to walk through a mist and fight 2 bosses at the same time. This was no easy fight as it was a werewolf looking dude who was fairly quick and once you got him down to like 25% health the 2nd boss joined which just so happened to be a crucible knight. Once I beat these bosses and went back to her body I was able to place the gem in.

@@catman08724 no it doesn't, with the meteor staff rock sling becomes your go to spell for bosses till the endgame, mana to dmg ratio only gets outpaced by a +9 staff is not just a "staff with S scalling" it also boost your rock sling damage by 30%

A few tips: - Should you hit Sellen at any time during the quest, you may not be able to progress any further. You will need to repent at the Church of Vows. - You MUST defeat Radahn for this questline to fully unlock. - After defeating Radahn, you must speak to the announcer and exhaust his dialogue. He will be sitting at the entrance of the church.

@@jeausy In this case, both statements are true. There is a church within Redmane castle - it's just not one of the typical churches you see in the open world. It should be just beyond where the announcer used to be, where a huge building lies with a chapel inside. Going up the steps from where other warriors listened should get you close enough for you to see (actually, just continue walking straight ahead after the steps and I think you will run into him). Please note, you need to beat Redahn for this.

Lusats head boosts his sorcery stars of rain damage and azurs head boosts comet azure dmg, you want terra magicus so you can do more damage while in the range terras rune. Also the golden vow miracle stacks the damage. I run lusats staff regardless because damage because it’s a 408 spell scaling and S in int at only +9.

@@DrSeuss408 not exactly sure, and turns out 99 Faith/Int the prince of deaths staff has higher scaling and damage at 25 at 448 scaling. I tested it and lusats, lusats took more FP and dealt less damage while PoD’s staff took regular fp cost and vast damage increase from lusats

A tip for those three Crystal soldiers. Use the hammer spell. It'll make them fall flat to their face and if you time out the spellcasting properly you can forever keep them looped. You will eventually need to drink more FP. But if your FP is high enough you can break their poise first bar. If you get really lucky you can trap all three of them in that loop

Another thing you can add to min max is the Godfrey Idol Talisman! You get it from the Golden Lineage Evergaol. It boosts charged skills and spells like Comet Azur!

It is important to note if you get stuck during the transplant into her body part, you need to make sure that you returned to the place you defeated Radahn (if you haven't well good luck he's annoying) and speak to a man named Witch-Hunter Jerren, exhaust his dialogue, then you can finally transplant.

Spells need re worked early game spells are way better than most end game spells and some of the spells cost waaaaay too much for their damage output

Idk if anyone else is having this problem but I’ve beaten Rahdhan, talked to Jerren and received her soul from Witchbane but in the ruins near rannis rise her body is there but has no prompt to receive the soul. I’ve now killed her 2 separate times to reset her via Church of Vows and nothing as happened, still no prompt. Considering u can only get her headpiece through her quest it is a little frustrating so if anyone has any ideas, lemme know.

You can get to Azur’s body without any of those requirements you listed by the way. I unlocked the D lift & simply made my way there very early, before Godrick.

If you go through the canyon at the north east of the lake area, there a building with a ladder near it. Going up the ladder takes you through a mine that will take you to the top of the cliff. There is a boss before you get to the top that took me a few tries.

Spoiler: I had to kill radahn after killing him the alive version of sellen gives u a fingerslayer blade which u have to go to the fallen star south of mistwood which leads to a hidden entrance to underground city nokron, there you have to progress through parkouring through the gigantic underground map up to a huge stone throne you can see from the distance. You have to get the hidden treasure of nokron and give it to sellen(or ranni) i forgot, after that u can progress with her story line. Also you need to talk to jerry at redmane castle (the announcer from the radahn bossfight) talk with him about everything then go back to her chained location where jerry will be too and u can progress. Its really worth doing selllen quest cause u get azur/lusat armor aswell as glintstone boosting armor set. Hope i could hep i explained bit poorly but theres lot of guides i suggest checking out rannis and sennis quest on fextralife wiki

If she doesn't give you her soul (8:16) you need to defeat Radahn first.

@@omaralmutairi6730 Sorry, I read that this would work. TURNS OUT IT DOESN'T! I figured out a fix for it, though: - Kill the chained up Sellen - Absolve yourself of sin (again, if you have to) - Go talk to Sellen in the waypoint ruin cellar, accept her request - You can now take her soul. It just worked for me. Fixed it this way.

Azur Comet does great for some bosses, but for a lot of them, it is actually completely useless. They will easily dodge it. Considering everything you have to do for it (INT 60!), it is definitely not OP and I think there are some way more powerful combos in this game.

Go to church of vows and go to the statue at the end and choose absolution, this should fix the quest (you need to have a celestial dew first)

Anyone struggling with the triple boss Here’s a trick that might not work 100% As it requires blind accuracy But if you have enough mana and refils you can stand against the fog wall and cast rock fling And if you get it right you can break the armor of one or even kill one of the crystal guys before even getting into the boss room This trick to deal with this boss is my idea but it’s a copy of someone else’s trick to deal with the Sellia crystal tunnels Boss which is also a pain to fight so to its size and the small room it’s in

Thumbs up a million. I used rock fling to absolutely obliterate one of the dudes before I even got in there. Easy pickings after that.

I kind of hate myself for using this to find these spells, but I knew I was on the right track searching high and low across Raya Lucaria and Sellia for sorcery: I did find a lot of the other spells during my search, too. I did skip to search for Lusat on my own, to at least preserve that exploration and discovery. Thank you for making this: I want to ask too, where can you get the sorcery Sellen uses in the fight between her and Jerren? Keeping things as vague as possible, if you can.

She never asked me for a favor. After I told her about Lusat she gave me the shards and that was it. I even went to the ruins where her body was but I couldn’t take her soul.

So I did everything up to the part where you go back to Senna's dead body but no NPC is there to talk to, also I have defeated Rennah and Radahn. Any one knows what Im missing ? Sennas new body is at Rannis Rise area but I can't seem to find the NPC next to her dead body?

go back to the castle plaza where the festeval started, go up to the throne room and talk to the NPC... his second dialog will say he has to go settle "old business"... he then appeared next to Sella's body for me. Hope this helps.

Hi guys, just letting you know that the Lusat Glintstone staff only boosts glintstone sorcery. So for example if you like to use Azurs comet (that big spell in the video} or the Stars of rain spell then the Carian regal scepter actually does more damage. I will say having both the staff's at max level {level 10} the difference is around 8-9% in Carian regal scepter's favour so it isnt a huge loss but Lusat still underpreforms. The only way to have the lusat do more dmg on every spell would be to raise strength a lot, which for a pure mage is most probably not what you want to do. I did waste a somber ancient dragon stone for this lmao but its nice to know. Btw i have max int (99) Have fun!

So if your having trouble finding the guy that’s by her chained body it’s not actually a step that’s required to be done, you can actually go back to her new body in three sisters rise and read her message left behind saying she’ll be at the academy and then follow the guide choosing to assist her or not. I’m assuming this happens if you talk to the guy in the castle and exhausting his dialogue before doing sellens quest line at all. But if you do this it should continue like normal and you should be able to finish the quest line

I don't think giving Sellen the scrolls is necessary for the quest - I'd only given her the Acadamy scroll. I only gave her the other 2 well after I'd finished her quest line if that helps anyone :)

I saw a comment on the elden ring wiki about Sellen's questline which recommends doing it after Ranni's questline (if someone planned on doing it as well). Because the *warning heeds* that if one should complete Sellen's questline, as in the video, Ranni will basically claim you unworthy of continuing her quest and not allow you the option to proceed to a certain boss. Disclaimer: I haven't completed either yet, but do plan on both. I do not know the truth about this rumor, so if anyone stumbles upon this issue... well, now you might know the cause.

SPOILER WARNING FOR THE HANDS DOWN COOLEST LEGENDARY SORCERY . . . . . . . . . . . . . If you kill the boss in the Yelough Anix Tunnel located in the lower west side of the consecrated snowfield, you get the Legendary Sorcery: “Meteorite of Astel” This is basically Meteorite but the shots are way more concentrated, allowing you to actually use it if given the chance. Likely best used against dragons, as they get distracted easily by summons and they’re big enough to get absolutely demolished by funny rocc

To destroy the 3 crystal boss use the Blasphemous Blade and your mimic with it too and they are easy. I had the blade to +6 and it killed them so easy. It was an accident as i normally have it as my second weapon for the healing, but changed to it and didnt see, and hit them and was like WHAT?!

I just found out if you use the hidden tear in your flask to negate fp consumption you can use comet azur with no fp consumption but heres the kicker you can actually hold down the button to keep on the blast im bout to try it on a boss lol

FOR ANYONE STUCK WITH CAVE BOSS Try night maiden mist it only needs 14 int and costs 20 FP It can be bought from the sorcerer after you helped milicent Be careful the mist rapidly eats away hp including your own if you stay in it But this spell is really good because it's not doing magical or physical damage nor is it an element This means bosses and enemies including EVERYTHING IN THE GAME Have absolutely no resistance to it Please like the comment so more ppl get to know this Thank me later
