Thank you for sharing your God given talents on natural hair. @@jeanettejbeauty6374 😵😵😵 Wow that's amazing seriously, and honestly you should be beyond proud. I've never REALLY styled my own hair, since I lack the talent, and patience. I mean I can Bun, Pineapple, and Bantu Knot. That's about all I've really got. Once I was about 9 I've been going to the salon since my Aunt owns a few locations. I've even tried the two strand twists you make seem so simple ( can't' do cornrows either ) They just never amount to much of anything besides a mess, and with all this hair. I simply haven't got time for that stress😕 So the fact you had to learn has turned you into a Guru. While folks like me have to be up in the salon in order to have it going on 😁

My challenge in getting the perfect twist out is that I have at least 3 different curl patterns and 2 different densities on my head. I have trouble getting consistent results all over my head. My front section is a lower density than the back of my head and my varying curl patterns make my twists look different throughout my head. I'm experimenting with varying the size of the sections to try to get a consistent look. I get better results with braid outs, but there is still a visible different between the lower density sections and the medium density sections.
@jeanettejbeauty6374

Katherine Miller have you tried the curly magic or Camille Rose curl maker? They have similar consistencies and work well on different curl patterns and densities. I can use on my four children and they have from 2c/3a low porosity - 4b high porosity very dense hair

JeanetteJBeauty that's a great idea! I was thinking about using a gel for twist outs instead of just using a twisting cream or a butter. I love Uncle Funky's Daughter Curly Magic Curl Stimulator for wash and goes, so I think I'll try that on a twist out.

So happy this video popped up on my page today. OMG OMG OMG..hair goals! I am still transitioning and have very uneven hair growth, low porosity hair and stress due to recent trauma and tragedy. Braidouts work best for added definition. I thought it was my imagination, but it's not. The left side of my hair has less definition. I've never once had any style last more than one day. Today I'm trying the new curl definer in this month's Curlbox. I'm so discouraged.

Deon Gillespie oh wow! Yes, there seems to be many factors giving you difficulty. Follow these steps and you should be good. Also make sure you can drink lots of water (if you don’t have a condition preventing you from) ☺️

Thanks so much for taking the time to do this! I’ve been doing 2-strand twists on myself & my daughter for years and I still learned something new! I‘ve been looking for new products so I will try yours. I have 3 questions: 1. How do you maintain your style at night! We normally tie down just the front section of our hair with a scarf. I would like to try a bonnet, but need a recommendation. 2. As you were twisting you squeezed out excess product, which became a white coating on the completed twist. I normally wipe it off. Should I leave it to dry on the twist? Will it cause residue? 3. Lastly, I put Argan oil on all of the parts since we both have very dry scalp. It absorbs almost immediately and isn’t greasy at all. Will this mess up the finished style? My hair is heavy like yours. My daughter’s is shorter, so less weight. Again, thanks sooooooooo!
