I’m still living on campus during this quarantine since NYC is in shambles rn. I’ve been using all of this time to try and get used to online classes, make my dorm feel the most comfortable, and experimenting with my hair! I actually did my first real twist out yesterday with the help of your videos (my hair is always in faux locs/braids/twists). Thank you for the consistent 4c representation!

Love these results!!! I work in a medical office so staying at home hasn’t been an option for me. But after work and weekends I’ve been watching everyone’s videos, catching up on movies and tv series, and getting back into reading. Doing this time I’m enjoying being home with my son ( he’s 4) teaching him sight words, to read and write. Also just playing with him and enjoying every moment with him. I’m keeping busy with household work, reading daily devotions, catching up on KZbin videos and trying to workout.

Heyyyy Lexi, okay, so you mentioned you pull your hair to help it stretch and I noticed you also pulling the ends..when I pull the ends, my hair coils like ribbon on a balloon..you know how you curl the ribbon with scissors?? Like that. It also shrinks up sooo much when wet. I don't like that so I dry a lot and try to use a super duper thickety thickums type cream styler. Do you have any tips that I may be missing beyond that??

During “quarantine” i haven’t been affected as much as most. I have reduce hours but still working, still have to go out and taking precautions. I’m working from home at this time. I have been using twists as my protective style. Making sure to remoisturize daily. I’ve learned that the more my hair is put away the better it grows.
