I got the riot gun buddy yesterday at the end of a game. One of my teammates said something like “Congratulations, you have all just won a riot gun buddy for being chill teammates.” Didn’t know what it was at the time but that’s cool that I got it😊 He also didn’t reveal that he was a riot employee so my only tip is to consistently give comms and be cool

it feels likes I'll never get the riot gun buddy, and gave up on it. Cuz i dont kiss a ss and I give unfiltered game tips, lineups, etc.. and like yelling at dummies that don't rotate or friendly fire consistantly in comps. I just want the snowman or the "K" buddy or piggy skins to show in my shop.

Apparently there’s a buddy limit as well, like you have until the end of the month to give out a buddy, but I think there is an infinite amount. I’m p sure it’s like 10 or smth per month

The other day i met a riot employee in a game, he didnt give any riot buddy even though my teammates and I tried to give good calls and being chill. (I actually got sad LOL)

Another tip I'm not sure if you mentioned but I heard that you have to be in LA servers since riot games headquarters is located in LA California in the US. You can also search up other locations riot devs work in but majority of them work at the headquarters in LA so you'll probably have better chances encountering riot devs in LA servers.

Been trying to be positive all the games I had yet to meet any riot devs in any of my games so far. But all g keeping positivity is way more important than having the buddy (even i want it myself). anyways great vid love your contents!

sorry for commenting late, i know this videos a year old but just wanted to say: the easiest way to get the buddy is actually when you are close with a person who works as a dev. and when you are really close with them you can just ask for it. also, note 2:24, i met a riot dev telling me they only had 5, she never gave any away except to her friend. and that's it. i don't know if there's a certain rank amongst riot employees, maybe the one in your game had 50 but i can't say for sure.also, riot devs usually hang around in platinum-immortal lobbies, so there is your highest chance. it also depends on which server, there are much more riot devs in na, asia and etc.i, for one in australia even in diamond, i have met 4 riot devs ever since closed beta.

I got mine on May 1st, playing a swiftplay at 7pm on Cali servers. I Q'd swiftplay, immediately spoke in pre round, and chatted it up with a rioter. We had good team synergy, even pulled a fun Yoru/Omen TP to the other site play. There was an anonymous raze, which was on an ace, and I accidentally omen blinded them and ruined their ace lol. Apologized profusely. Tips from my riot buddy game: - Be positive - Comm to the best of your ability - Strike up little convos - Joke around when you whiff lol I'm so lucky that I got mine so early in my search for it. player support is probably the ticket guys they really cool i got banned from comp afk cause power went out made a ticket and they lift the ban. they just check if you afk on purpose and whatnot

Let me help you out Riot: - Have a compliment system (Giving a players a thumbs up for good comms, sportsmanship, etc.) - Lottery every month of players who have high compliments to get a riot gun buddy This would help encourage good comms and gameplay without the 0.00001% chance you're playing with a Riot employee.

i had someone last game his name was Epic Co Worker had a gunbuddy tag was #dev and when i ask him if he is one he said you will see. Also he had information abotu my Vandal skin level and a lot more
