@@anarchondsounds like a you problem, mate. You don’t need to speedrun a card collecting game, especially one that just came out. Only time you need to spend money is if you want specific cosmetic bundles.

@@CiscoR21it’s only a week old and I ran out of things to do on day two. I’ve spent zero money and have beaten every solo mission, and all but two of the bonus objectives that come along with them. The game is fun, but the PvP is too unrewarding to keep F2P players engaged.

Also, the reason why you need the Full Art Snorlax for that collection is because all four of those illustrations are part of the same combined picture. Bits of Snorlax are visible in all 3 of Oddish, Bellsprout and Venonat from different angles, all as part of a callback to the Gen 1 games.

​@@flamemaster3436Basically it's all 151 pkmn from the Kanto region. There's no way of checking which pokemon is from which region in the app but you can find it online :)

As a full time dad with a full time job, this game is so cool. You just log in once or twice a day. Open the pack, enjoy the cards then do it all over again the next day. Battling is fun too!

THEY BETTER PRINT THESE CARDS FOR A SET. not because of the exclusive arts, its because of me finding a Gengar illustrated by my favourite artist (Naoyo Kimura), then the absolute ANGUISH when i realise that the Gengar is some obscure Japanese only e-reader card that can go for near £100+.

@6:37 FYI Austin, there are two different 2 Star cards for the Legendary Birds: There's the regular Full Art, and the ALT Art. You need the ALT art versions of the cards (like your Zapdos) for that secret mission. That Articuno you have is just a regular Full Art.

So fun information that I just learned. Apparently there is a 30 turn maximum for versus, as well as the fact that you can not win/lose by deck out. I think there needs to be a rules button like on solo mode, and the latter should be changed so it does happen to be consistent wit h the physical TCG. I know its a cut down 20 card deck, but out of my 100+ matches, I have never run into either scenario yet. But I have had friends who have. I only managed to make a cpu deck out once.

Just an FYI, it looks like promos do not count towards this mission. I have Butterfree promo from the Lapras solo battle event and Butterfree is the only standard card I am missing from the Kanto Pokedex. I used all my pack points to get other cards thinking I was good on Butterfree, but now I keep pulling those same cards in search for the Butterfree lol.

@@mattvarley3462 ain’t no way…the game didn’t release until October 28-30th based on region. Edit: you’d have to be extremely lucky to be getting cards you don’t have on each opening. I’ve been playing since launch, opening cards every day, and still only have 138 cards.

When you click the plus button on cards you need for collections, it will show you the specific card(s) it’s looking for. If you click on the Snorlax card, you’ll see it only show the full art, so that’s what’s you need

Just trying to get my head around the remaining missions on the solo battles. The final ones where you have to use cards weak to that type (fire Vs water etc) it's harder than expected... Or luck based! Thanks for this. Gives me something to aim for rather than failing at battles 😅

I got a tip for the battles make a deck that has 6-8 pokemon and the rest support(2 of each of these, potion, x speed, poke ball, prof research, giovanni, sabrina)(if you have 6 pokemon add 2 more supports i like the red card)

@ScottyP04 that's similar to how I've tried it. The venasaur ex one wasn't too bad as you can make a deck which is the right type but isn't weak at the same time. (Machamp). It's less easy with the water and fire deck challenges! 🤔 I'll get there eventually. Trying Moltres EX as it's not weak to water at the moment but you can only have two!

@@MarkBailey let me put you on to an electric deck if you have the cards its 2 voltorbs and electrodes 2 zapdos ex or normal and 2 pikachu ex plus all of those supports the pikachu is amazing i only have problems against mewtwo decks(online battles) and a good fighting deck, other than that it wins most of the time

Saw this comment in another vid about bent packs " So, once you select "open pack" the game will always open a pack. At this point, if someone goes to wonder trade before you open a pack, they will see what is in your first pack. If you choose another pack, you will get another pack, which I have tested and did pull a different pack to what was shown on wonder trade" I figure that it might be worth testing if you have multiple accounts

If you click on the cards you don't have in the collection missions it will show you all the versions of that card that count towards the mission. If it shows the pack when you click it that means it has to be the one in the picture

i just got it yesterday XD also getting the legendary trio emblem requires the rainbow 2 star birds (cards 274-276) cards 255 (alt art Moltres EX) 258 (alt art Articuno EX) and 260 (alt art Zapdos EX) do NOT count towards the emblem for the 3 missions talked about at 5:20 its ONLY the 1 star alt art works needed (so you don't need to worry about getting a 2 star Charizard ex or anything to complete those missions)

@JCpaco you need at least a version of the card. So you can either get a Charizard or a Charizard ex, although obviously one is clearly going to be easier to get

I don't have Charizard, but I still have the "collect 5 Charizard" mission. The ex cards might not count in collections, but getting one might still be the trigger, cuz I got Charizard ex on one of my earliest wonder packs.

there is another secrets mission to get all the non-secret rare cards. I got it, it gave me three new profile portraits. a mewtwo, charizard and pikachu. They all look like the same art work that are on the binders for apex from the ticket shop

Don't know if I'm just lucky or what but recently I've gotten 4 diamond or higher more often by doing this: go right 3 then left 2 before u choose 1 of the 3 packs then what I land on gave me the rarer cards more often from that pack
