thena’s cost doesn’t add up to her meta potential. she’s basically the most expensive character and seems very mediocre which is good if you don’t care for her and didn’t want to build her, but if you’re like me and wanted her to be strong then yeaaaaaa…still wish she was combat.🤷🏾‍♀️

Facts! I am so disappointed...How did they launch the eternals, especially Thena and she doesn't have a heal...? he's DPS is okay...such a shame, they could've really hit this one home! Not only did they do two crystal deluxe packs back to back but they also added 9 items that take up inventory slots in this update and artifacts like two updates ago w/o increasing inventory or crystal rewards. Anyone who says the daily/weekly crystal amount is enough is crazy.

I hope they dont do this kind of Eq anymore, you need a lot of crystals and a lot of t3 resources to even unlock the "last" character, yes, you needed resources in the other EQ's aswell but they didnt force you to t3/awaken characters to continue the quest.

FYI it's 2 road blocks without a way to refresh your Timeline Battles: 10x participate, twice, then 10x win. Unless your team rocks that may actually amount to 3 road blocks.

Honestly, I think the devs did a good job with Thena. She isn't meta breaking and it's a good thing. People are saying, "wow such an expensive character and she's kind of mediocre". But if it were the other way around, people would have crosses up in arms shouting "oh a meta character locked behind such expensive gates, NETMARBLE GREEEEE". Instead the best characters are Makari and Gilgamesh, and the best thing is, you can choose what you want. PvE or PvP. You don't have to invest and build up multiple characters to get the best one like the other quests before.

honestly i am glad she isnt meta breaking since i can skip her or even delay getting her. on the other hand in the past characters like jean were meta and people still understood that the cost for the epic was justified as in she was costly due to her power level. so i dont see how the players will all of a sudden expect a change in epic quests offering characters that are meta and expensive. actually its the opposite of what people expected so that is why people are underwhelmed.

She is undoubtedly the most expensive character ever, in terms of unlocking cost. You don’t need to spend any crystals to unlock knull, mephisto and sentry, so we can put these 3 characters aside. Characters like doom, jean grey, molecule man etc take 6600 crystals to unlock whereas thena takes 8800 crystals plus some t3 materials to unlock

It takes 8.800 crystals, yeah, but you also get 2.000 of them back. So to be fair it takes 8.800 to unlock but ultimately it costs 6.800.

With how long we have been talking about not giving more free crystals one idea I had to fix another problem is to give us 1 crystal per shadowlands clear. Even whales could only farm like 200ish per week so it's like timeline but it would encourage to build out the full roster to get further in shadowlands for more weekly crystals

U can let the game get u past the potential and to lvl 62, then u can get her just up to 68 and that gives u enough bios to mythic the uniform then let the game get u from 68-70

You can't do more than one quest at a time, so it's not 4 days for thena, its 7. 1 day for kingo sersi skiparis, 3 days for makkari 3 for gilgamesh

i can see both sides of the coin regarding thena's underwhelming performance. on one hand it's good for f2ps that she's not the next big meta breaking character, but at the same time, she costs so much and demands so much time and effort to even unlock her at 1 star and then to build her up to t3 that she should at least be competing with the other female universal types. she's basically your "reward" for spending a crap ton of resources on other eternals (and their uniforms since most of them are not worth it without them) so for example for me, it took not only 8800 crystals upfront from the deluxe packs, but then to make use of the investment (and bc of how they made these characters subpar without their uniforms) its more like 8800+(850 x 6) which is almost 14000 crystals upfront. plus insane amounts of t3 and awakening materials. i get that we need to look out for the fully f2ps but a characters cost should reflect how valuable they are to your account and thena is a joke if you look at it this way.
