One of the cooler areas in any fromsoft game I've played, but there isn't much there for some reason. Why spend the time to make such an extensive area and then leave it empty, very strange.

Literally. It’s also confusing as hell right from the start. I found my way to the fire giant but got lost in the beginning caves a million times. There’s secret tunnels and shit. Then my immediate thought is go right after the fire giant then you end up with a sealed spirit spring you gotta figure out how to break open (which is the dumbest shit I’ve done)

Loved this area. There are so many paths to choose from everywhere in the Ancient Ruins that would sidetrack me, and I'd end up forgetting where I was trying to go in the first place lol.
